10°C (50°F) | 10°C (50°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 18.5h |
15°C (59°F) | 15°C (59°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 15h |
20°C (68°F) | 20°C (68°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 11.5h |
25°C (77°F) | 25°C (77°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 8.5h |
30°C (86°F) | 30°C (86°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 5.5h |
Note: Always cover the spa with the spa cover when heating is activated to reduce heating duration. Do not use the spa if ambient temperature is below 4°C (39°F).
Detailed specifications for specific models (Vegas, Miami, Palm Springs, Paris, Hawaii, Siena AirJet) including capacity, dimensions, power rates, and parts lists are provided in the full manual. These models typically accommodate 2-6 adults, have a heat element of 2000W, and a water flow of 1325 L/h.
3. Installation
Selected Location:
WARNING: The chosen location must support the spa's expected load, including water and users. It must be smooth, flat, level, and capable of uniformly supporting the weight. Damage from improper support is not covered by warranty.
WARNING: An adequate drainage system is required for both indoor and outdoor installations to handle overflow water.
Indoor Installation:
- Be aware of humidity effects on exposed materials. Provide plenty of ventilation.
Outdoor Installation:
- Install near a floor drain as water may flow out during filling, draining, or use.
- Avoid direct sunlight exposure for long periods.
PRCD Test:
The Portable Residual Current Device (PRCD) plug must be tested before each use to avoid electric shock.

5. Maintenance
CAUTION: Always unplug the pump before beginning spa maintenance to avoid injury or death.
Filter Cartridge Maintenance:
Check and clean filter cartridges daily. Replace soiled or discolored cartridges weekly. (Diagram shows filter cartridge 58323 and filter set P6653 components.)
Water Maintenance:
Keeping spa water clean and chemically balanced is essential. Cleaning the filter cartridge alone is insufficient. Use pool chemicals (chlorine or bromine tablets, not granules) with a chemical floater. Change water approximately every 3 days, depending on usage. Shower before using the spa to prevent cosmetic product residues from degrading water quality.
Recommended Water Chemistry:
pH | Total Alkalinity | Free Chlorine |
---|---|---|
7.4-7.6 | 80-120 ppm | 2-4 ppm |
Note: Damage from chemical imbalance is not covered by the warranty. Handle chemicals with care, following manufacturer's instructions. Misuse of chemicals voids warranty.
Draining the Spa:
To drain the spa, disconnect the pump and open the drain valve. (Diagrams illustrate draining steps, including lifting the spa to remove remaining water.)
Cleaning the Spa:
Clean spa walls with soap and water to remove detergent residues and dissolved solids. Rinse thoroughly. NOTE: Do not use hard brushes or abrasive cleaners.
Spa Repair:
For models #54112, #54123, #54148 (and inflatable cover): Use the provided heavy-duty repair patch. Clean area, peel patch, press firmly for 30 seconds before inflation.
For models #54129, #54154, #54156 (not including inflatable cover): Use the provided PVC repair patch and glue (not included). Clean and dry area, cut patch to size, apply glue, wait 30 seconds, place patch, smooth out bubbles, press firmly for 2 minutes. Wait 30 minutes before inflation. Repeat if leaks persist.
Lay-Z-Spa Storage:
Ensure the spa and pump are completely dry. Use the pump to blow dry the spa, pump, and pipes. Remove and discard used filter sets. Re-attach stopper caps to inlet/outlet valves. Store in original package in a warm, dry place.
WARNING: Plastic becomes brittle and susceptible to breaking in subzero temperatures. Freezing can severely damage the spa and void your warranty.
