3. Power on your printer

1. Connect the power adapter and power cable to the printer. Three images demonstrate this process: first, connecting the power adapter to the printer; second, connecting the power cable to the adapter; and third, plugging the power cable into a wall outlet.
2. NOTE: Please switch the power to O (I: ON O:OFF) before connecting the power cable to the printer.
3. Turn on the printer.

4. How to feed label

1. Open the printer cover and feed the label into the printer. A diagram shows the printer with its cover open and a label being fed into the slot, emphasizing that the printing side must face up.
2. NOTE: The printing side must be faced up or it will print a blank label.
3. Close the printer cover. The printer will automatically catch the label.
4. Press and hold the FEED button (on the top of the cover) until the blue light blinks 2 times, then release the button. The printer will run label identification automatically.
5. Press and hold the FEED button until the blue light blinks 1 time, then release the button. The printer will print a self-test page.

Important: Please check whether the self-test page is clear and correct. If the print is unclear or incorrect, please contact customer service directly for a new replacement service.

5. Connect to computer

1. Connect the USB cable to the printer. An image shows a USB cable being plugged into the back of the printer.

3. Turn on the printer.

6. Installation for Windows

Tips: The driver is fully compatible with Windows computers with ARM processors.

1. Get printer driver installation.
2. You can obtain the label printer driver from the USB drive included in the package.
3. Alternatively, get the latest driver from https://phomemo.com/pages/download-center-pm-246s-new.
4. Open the driver installation file. Just follow the prompts and proceed to the next step. A screenshot of the 'Completing the Label Printer Driver Setup Wizard' window is shown, indicating successful installation and options to exit setup or open the control panel.

The printer driver has now been installed. Enjoy your printer.

7. Installation for Mac

1. Get printer driver installation.
2. You can obtain the label printer driver from the USB drive included in the package.
3. Alternatively, get the latest driver from https://phomemo.com/pages/download-center-pm-246s-new.
4. Open the driver installation file. Just follow the prompts and proceed to the next step. A screenshot of the 'Install Label Printer' wizard on Mac is shown, confirming successful installation.

The printer driver has now been installed. Enjoy your printer.

8. Installation for ChromeOS

1. Open the Chrome Web Store.
2. Search for the "labelife" extension. A screenshot shows the Chrome Web Store search bar with "labelife" entered.

5. Select PM246S then pair with the printer.

The printer has now been set up with your Chromebook.

9. Label editor: Labelife

Instruction: Labelife is a free application for Phomemo printers. You can customize labels with editor tools or crop PDF files using Labelife PDF tools.

1. Download and install Labelife.
2. Get the installation from: https://labelife.itaricartridge.com. A screenshot of the Labelife software interface features a prominent "One-click Installation" button.

10. Keep your label printer in latest update

Be aware: Keeping your label printer in the latest update will make the printer perform better.

1. Open the Labelife application.
2. Navigate to Help → Firmware updates. A screenshot of the Labelife menu shows the 'Help' dropdown with 'Firmware updates' selected.

11. Setup: printer preference

Setting paper size (Windows)
