2.1 Precautions
- Use 5V 2A input for charging; mobile phone power adapter recommended.
- Connect USB cable to power adapter before charging. Gently insert/unplug cable.
- Unplug charging cable after charging is complete.
- Do not use or charge in high temperature, high humidity, smoky, or dusty environments (e.g., bathroom, steam room, near open flame).
- Improper charging may damage the print head.
- Do not touch the print head to prevent scalding.
- The tearing blade is sharp; handle with care.
- If the machine malfunctions, insert the reset hole to restart.
2.2 Battery Warning Instructions
- Do not disassemble, hit, squeeze, or throw the battery into fire.
- Do not reuse if severe swelling occurs.
- Do not place in high temperature environments or use after soaking in water.
- Risk of explosion if battery is replaced with the wrong type. Dispose of used batteries according to instructions.
- If using a power adapter, ensure it meets safety standards or has CCC certification.
03. APP Download Method
Search for "Phomemo" in your device's app store and download/install it.
- For Apple devices: Search "Phomemo" in the Apple App Store, click to download and install.
- For Android devices: Search "Phomemo" in the Google App Store, click to download and install.
04. App Connection Method
- Charge the printer for the first use. Press and hold the power button for about 3 seconds to turn it on.
- Connect the machine:
- Method 1: Turn on phone Bluetooth, open Phomemo APP, click the icon in the upper right corner of the main interface, select "M02 pro" from the list to connect.
- Method 2: After startup, double-click the power button to print a QR code. Scan the code within the Phomemo APP to connect.

05. How to Replace the Printing Paper
- Open the top cover.
- Remove the adjuster on the right side.
- Load the printing paper.
- Install the adjuster on the right side.
- Place the printing paper into the paper compartment and close the top cover.
Tip: To distinguish the front and back of printing paper:
- Scratch the paper firmly with your fingernail; install with the color side up.
- Ensure the smooth surface faces up and aligns with the printing port.

09. Phomemo Official Printing Paper Types
- Tri-proof thermo-sensitive paper: Bisphenol-A free, scratch-resistant, image retention up to 7-10 years.
- Colored paper: Bisphenol-A free, available in yellow, pink, blue, image retention up to 5 years.
- Adhesive paper: Bisphenol-A free, adhesive on one side for direct pasting, image retention up to 10 years.
- Semi-permeable/transparent thermo-sensitive film: Bisphenol-A free, waterproof, oil-proof, scratch-resistant, excellent photo effect, image retention up to 15 years.
Note: These are official Phomemo consumables. Using non-official consumables may void the warranty.
10. Specific Function Operation Guidelines
10.1 Print Images Operation Guidelines
- Select "Print Images" in the Phomemo APP.
- Add photos to print.
- Adjust the picture in the work area (change, modify, adjust brightness, contrast, rotate, crop).
- Choose printing density: Fine, Medium, Thick, Dedicated.
- Select the "Print" button to complete printing.

Use the "Label Workshop" function in the Phomemo APP to create custom labels (15mm or 25mm width).
10.2.3 Operation Method
- In the "function area", design your label.
- Select "Print" or "Save" in the "editing area". View historical records in "History".

- Select "Graphic" in the Phomemo APP.
- Click any graphic to enter the editing area.
- In the "Functional Area", add text, tables, images, stickers, and QR codes. Edited content appears in the "Editing Area".
Features:
- Text: Insert and edit text; font and alignment are optional.
- Table: Insert and edit tables.
- Image: Insert pictures for editing or printing.
- Emoji: Insert emojis.
- QR code: Enter text to generate a QR code.
After editing, click the [print icon] in the upper right corner to print.

10.4 Windows Application Document Printing Operation Guidelines
Select "Print Web" in the Phomemo APP. Enter a web address and click the print button on the page to print web content.

11. Common Problems and Solutions

Faded font on paper roll | Improper use and preservation | Edit records before printing. Avoid using oil-based pens or gel pens on printed paper. Ambient factors (temperature, humidity, alcohol, sweat, hand sanitizer) can affect fading. Store printed surfaces away from other surfaces or bags. If sticking is needed, use official adhesive-backed paper. Alkaline adhesives may accelerate fading. Store paper in a dry environment, avoiding light. |
