2. Package list

The package includes the following items:

3. Power on your printer

Connect the power adapter and power cable to the printer. A diagram shows the power cable being inserted into the printer's power port, followed by the power adapter being plugged into a power outlet. Another diagram shows a hand flipping the power switch on the printer.

Turn on the printer.

4. How to feed label

Open the printer cover and feed the label into the printer. A diagram illustrates the printer with its top cover open, showing how to insert the label roll.

• Close the printer cover. The printer will automatically catch the label.
• Press and hold the FEED button (located on the top of the cover) until the blue light blinks 2 times, then release the button. The printer will run label identification automatically.
• Press and hold the FEED button until the blue light blinks 1 time, then release the button. The printer will print a self-test page.

5. Connect to computer

Connect the USB cable to the printer. A diagram shows a USB cable being plugged into the printer's USB port.

Turn on the printer.

6. Installation for Windows

• Get printer driver installation: Obtain the latest driver from https://labelife.net/#/pm246s.
• Open driver installation: Follow the prompts to proceed with the installation. A screenshot of the 'Completing the Label Printer Driver Setup Wizard' is shown, indicating that the installation is finished.

The printer driver has now been installed. Users can enjoy their printer.

7. Installation for Mac

• Get printer driver installation: Obtain the latest driver from https://labelife.net/#/pm246s.
• Open driver installation: Follow the prompts to proceed with the installation. A screenshot of the 'Install Label Printer' window is shown, with a green checkmark indicating 'The installation was successful'.

8. Installation for ChromeOS

• Open the Chrome Web Store.

• Select 'PM246S' then pair with the printer.

The printer has now been set up with your Chromebook.

9. Label editor: Labelife

Instruction: Labelife is a free application for Phomemo printers.

Users can customize labels with editor tools or crop PDF files using Labelife PDF tools.

10. Keep your label printer in latest update

Open the Labelife application.

Setting paper size

Windows
