Introduction
This document provides the original instructions for the VEVOR Level 1/2 Portable Electric Vehicle Charger. Please read all instructions carefully before operating the device. VEVOR reserves the right to interpret the user manual. The appearance of the product is subject to the actual item received. VEVOR will not provide advance notice for technology or software updates.
Warnings
- Do not connect the EV charger to a power outlet that is not properly grounded.
- Use the EV charger only within the specified operating parameters.
- The charger is designed for vehicles compatible with the SAE J1772 AC Level 1/2 charging standard.
- Do not use the EV charger if it is defective, cracked, frayed, broken, damaged, or fails to operate.
- Do not use the EV charger's plug or adapter in an outlet for which it is not designed.
- Do not attempt to open, disassemble, repair, tamper with, or modify the EV charger. It is not user-serviceable.
- Do not disconnect the EV charger from the wall outlet while the vehicle is charging.
- Do not use the EV charger during severe rain, snow, electrical storms, or other inclement weather.
- Protect the EV charger from moisture, water, and foreign objects at all times. Do not use if corroded or damaged.
- Do not plug the EV charger into an electrical outlet submerged in water or covered in snow. If the charger is already plugged in under these conditions, turn off the breaker before unplugging.
- Do not touch the EV charger's end terminals with sharp metallic objects (e.g., wire, tools, needles). Do not forcefully fold or damage the charger with sharp objects. Do not insert foreign objects into any part of the charger.
- The EV charger is not a toy and should be kept away from children. Supervise children if they are near the operating charger.

Cautions Before Start Charging
- Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded before plugging in the EV charger.
- Do not use the EV charger if it is defective, cracked, frayed, broken, damaged, or fails to operate. Do not use if the plug is dirty or wet.
- The plug must be inserted completely into the power outlet. [Incorrect insertion indicated by a red cross symbol ❌, correct insertion by a green checkmark ✔️]
How to Start Charging
- Turn off the vehicle and completely insert the EV charger's plug into the power outlet.
- Long press the adjust button [④] to select the proper charging current.
- Remove the protective cap [⑨], plug the charger connector [⑧] into your vehicle, and start charging. [Charging process illustrated with arrows indicating connection steps]
How to Stop Charging
- Unlock the vehicle and press the button above the handle to detach the charger connector from the charge port. [Illustration shows button press and connector removal]
- Disconnect the charger's plug from the power outlet. [Illustration shows plug disconnection]
- Replace the protective cap [⑨], store the charger in the storage bag, and keep it in an appropriate location. [Illustration shows cap replacement and storage]
How to Adjust the Charging Current
Important: Adjust the charging current before inserting the charging connector. The current cannot be adjusted while charging is in progress.
- Long press the [④] button for 3 seconds to set the charging current to 40A.
- Short press the [④] button to select the desired charging current (10A / 16A / 20A / 24A / 32A / 40A).
- After selecting the current, wait 5 seconds for the setting to complete.
- During the setting mode, the currently selected current flashes white. Once set, the display shows the real-time charging current, which may fluctuate based on voltage and the vehicle's charging requirements.
How to Set the Delayed Start Timer
Note: The EV charger will not begin charging until the countdown is complete. To use the charger during the countdown, long press the [⑤] button for 3 seconds to cancel the timer, allowing the charger to operate normally.
- Long press the [⑤] button for 3 seconds. The display will show '0 H' state.
- Short press the [⑤] button to select the desired delayed start time.
- After selecting the time, wait 5 seconds. The display will show the charging countdown.
- Connect the EV charger's connector [⑧] to the vehicle. Charging will commence when the countdown ends.
LED Status Description
Flashing Lights:
- Green: Charging
- Blue: EV Connected
- Red: Ground fault
Solid Lights:
- Green: Fully charged
- Blue: Standing by
- Red: General fault
Troubleshooting
Diagnostic | Problem | Solution |
