Safety Advice and Warnings
- Read and follow all instructions before use. Failure to do so may result in an accident.
- Keep packaging material away from children to prevent suffocation.
- Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the product.
- This charger is not intended for use by children. Keep out of reach of children.
- Individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities may use the charger if provided with supervision and instruction on safe usage.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- Ensure the mains voltage matches the voltage indicated on the rating label.
- Connect the charger to a socket rated for a minimum of 16 amperes.
- Ensure the charger's plug fits properly into the mains socket. Do not alter the plug.
- Do not use the charger if the cable or plug is damaged. Disconnect immediately if casings break to prevent electric shock.
- Do not use with damp hands or feet, or while barefoot.
- Do not use in inclement weather or immerse the charger in water.
- Do not use the power cord to lift, carry, or unplug the charger.
- Check the power cord for damage or tangles, as this increases the risk of electric shock.
- Accessible surfaces may become hot during use.
- Do not place the charger or cables near high-temperature items.
- Do not operate in a closed, unventilated environment.
- The charger must be grounded.
- The charger contains no user-serviceable parts.

Charging Your Vehicle
Use only on mains power with a fault current circuit breaker. Read this guide and your vehicle's owner's handbook before charging.
- Firmly insert the power plug into the wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is rated for at least 16A (Figure 1).
- Insert the Type 1 plug into the electric vehicle's charging inlet (Figure 2).
- Charging begins automatically when LED Light 1 starts blinking regularly (Figure 3).
Diagrams illustrating steps 1, 2, and 3 are described textually above.
Stop Charging
- Disconnect the Type 1 plug from the vehicle inlet (Figure 4).
- Disconnect the power plug from the outlet (Figure 5).
- Replace the charger plug dust cap and store the charger unit in the provided bag in a dry place (Figure 6).
Diagrams illustrating steps 4, 5, and 6 are described textually above.
Troubleshooting
LED Light 1 (Green) | LED Light 2 (Red) | Functions | Definition |
---|---|---|---|
Blinks once | Blinks once | Initial Status | Power on or reset. The relay is "off". |
Keeps blinking fastly | Lights off | To Be Connected | The voltage of Detection Point 1 is 12V, and the relay is "off". |
Keeps blinking slowly and regularly | Lights off | Normal Charging | The voltage of Detection Point 1 is 6V, and the relay is "on". |
Lights on | Lights off | End of Charging | The voltage of Detection Point 1 is 9V, and the relay is "off". |
Lights off | Blinks once every 2 seconds | Abnormal Communication | The voltage of Detection Point 1 is abnormal (outside [6±0.8]V, [9±0.8]V, [12±0.8]V). The charger enters protection status. When voltage returns to normal, the charger resumes working. |
Lights off | Blinks twice every 2 seconds | Undervoltage | Voltage is no more than 75V±10V for 0.1 second; power output stops. When voltage rises to 90V±10V, charging resumes after a 5-second delay. |
Lights off | Blinks 3 times every 2 seconds | Overvoltage | Voltage is no lower than 270V±10V for 0.1 second; power output stops. When voltage drops to 254V±10V, charging resumes after a 5-second delay. |
Lights off | Blinks 4 times every 2 seconds | Leakage | Leakage current is no lower than 25±5mA; the relay turns "off" (response time <100mS). Charger must be powered on again after the failure is eliminated. |
Lights off | Blinks 5 times every 2 seconds | Overcurrent | 1. Current exceeds "Stage1 Fixed Overcurrent Value" but not "Stage2 Fixed Overcurrent Value" for 5 seconds: relay turns "off". After 10 seconds, relay turns "on". If overcurrent repeats 3 times, failure light turns on, charging stops. Requires power cycle to resume charging. 2. Current exceeds "Stage2 Fixed Overcurrent Value" for 1 second: failure light turns on, charging stops. Requires power cycle to resume charging. |
Lights off | Blinks 6 times every 2 seconds | Power Plug / Circuit board Over-heat | Temperature of power plug or circuit board exceeds 85°C for 2 seconds: relay turns "off". Wait for temperature to drop below 65°C for 2 seconds to resume normal working. |
/ | Lights on | PE wire is not connected to ground | Charging is allowed, but the warning light remains "red" (not blinking). |
Lights off | Blinks 8 times every 2 seconds | Self-test failed | Charger is faulty. Relay is "off", and the charger requires repair. |
