JLab JBuds Air Icon Wireless Earbuds

1. Automatic Earbud Pairing

Press and hold the touch sensor on both earbuds for 3+ seconds to turn on. The left and right earbuds will flash blue/white, indicating they are ready to pair with your device.

2. Connect to Bluetooth

Select 'JLab JBuds Air Icon' in your device settings. Two beeps followed by solid white flashing lights will indicate you are connected.

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices:

Turn OFF Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn ON Bluetooth on the new device. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth Pairing. Select 'JLab JBuds Air Icon' in your new device settings to connect.

Left Earbud

• Volume Down: Tap once
• Siri (iOS) or 'OK Google' (Android): Tap twice
• Answer Call: Tap once
• End Call: Tap twice
• Reject Incoming Call: Hold for 1 second
• Rewind: Hold for 1 second
• Power On: Hold for 3+ seconds
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Right Earbud

• Volume Up: Tap once
• Answer Call: Tap once
• End Call: Tap twice
• Reject Incoming Call: Hold for 1 second
• Play / Pause: Tap twice
• Fast Forward: Hold for 1 second
• Power On: Hold for 3+ seconds
• Change EQ: Triple tap

Voice Prompts

• Power On: Chime
• Connected: 2 Beeps

Turn Off Earbuds Without Charging Case:

Go to your Bluetooth device settings and disconnect from JBuds Air Icon. The earbuds will turn off after 3 minutes.

Equalizer Modes

Triple tap the left earbud for different equalizer settings. Voice prompts will announce the equalizer settings (JBuds Air Icon will cycle through 3 equalizer settings).

• JLab Signature (One Beep): JLab C3™ sound with enhanced vocals and bass
• Balanced (Two Beeps): Sound even without extra sound enhancements
• Bass Boost (Three Beeps): Enhanced bass and sub-bass

Earbud Charging

Match the corresponding L and R letters in the charging case for proper charging. The earbuds will automatically TURN OFF and begin charging. Blue lights indicate the earbuds are charging and will turn OFF when fully charged.

Case Charging

Connect the JBuds Air Icon to a computer or USB 5V 1A (or less) output device. Lights will pulse white while charging and turn solid white when fully charged. The earbuds will automatically turn on and reconnect to your device when the charging case is opened.

No Sound in Left Earbud or Earbuds (Manual Reset)

1. Go to your Bluetooth device settings and forget the 'JLab JBuds Air Icon'.
2. Place both earbuds in the charging case.
3. Quickly triple-tap the touch sensor on each earbud. Each will flash blue/white and then turn off. After both have turned off, close the charging case.
4. Wait 10 seconds and open the charging case. Wait for the left and right to flash blue/white. You are now ready to pair with your Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting

1. Go to your Bluetooth device settings and forget the 'JLab JBuds Air Icon'.
2. Turn your device's Bluetooth off and then on again.
3. Open the charging case and wait for the left and right earbuds to flash blue/white.
4. Select 'JLab JBuds Air Icon' from your device settings to reconnect.

Call Response

If you are experiencing microphone echo / call quality issues with the JBuds Air Icon, ensure the Cush Fin is not blocking the microphone port.
