First Setup
1. Automatic Earbud Connection
Press and hold both touch sensors for more than 3 seconds to turn on the earbuds. The white and blue lights will flash on both earbuds, indicating they are ready for device connection. ?

2. Bluetooth Connection
Select "JLab JBuds Air Icon" in your device's settings. Two beeps, followed by solid white lights, will indicate that the connection has been successful. ?? ? (solid)

Adding New / Additional Bluetooth Devices:
Turn off Bluetooth on any previously connected device. Turn on Bluetooth on the new device. The earbuds will automatically enter Bluetooth connection mode. Select "JLab JBuds Air Icon" in the new device's settings to connect.
Button Functions
Voice Notifications:
- Power On: Acoustic signal ?
- Bluetooth Connected: Two beeps ??
- Low Battery: Voice prompt "Low battery" (less than 20%)
- Power Off: Acoustic signal ?
Left Earbud Functions:
- Volume -: Single tap
- Siri (iOS) / "OK Google" (Android): Double tap ?️ / ?
- Answer Call: Single tap
- Hang Up Call: Double tap
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for more than 1 second ?
- Previous Track: Press and hold for more than 1 second ?
- Power On: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds ?
- Change EQ: Triple tap
Right Earbud Functions:
- Volume +: Single tap
- Answer Call: Single tap
- Hang Up Call: Double tap
- Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for more than 1 second ?
- Play / Pause: Double tap ▶️⏸️
- Next Track: Press and hold for more than 1 second ?
- Power On: Press and hold for more than 3 seconds ?
- Change EQ: Triple tap
Turning off earbuds without the charging case: Access your device's Bluetooth settings and disconnect the JBuds Air Icon. The earbuds will turn off after 3 minutes.
Equalizer Modes
To access the different EQ settings, tap the right or left earbud 3 times. Voice notifications will indicate the EQ settings (JBuds Air Icon cycles through 3 different EQ modes).
- JLab SIGNATURE (One beep ?): Audio with amplified vocals and bass.
- BALANCED (Two beeps ??): Uniform audio without added enhancements.
- BASS BOOST (Three beeps ???): Amplified bass and deep bass.
Charging the Earbuds
1. Charging the Earbuds: To charge correctly, place the earbuds in their respective positions marked 'L' (left) and 'R' (right). The earbuds will automatically turn off, and the charging process will begin. Blue indicator lights will show the charging status and turn off once charging is complete.

2. Reconnecting: Once the case is opened, the earbuds will automatically turn on and reconnect to your device.
Charging the Case
Connect the JBuds Air Icon to a computer or a USB power source (5V 1A or less). During charging, the white LEDs will flash, and the light will become solid once charging is complete.

How to Wear Them
Try the optional Cush Fins™ and all ear tips to find the best fit and seal for your ear. The Cush Fins should be aligned by positioning the edge around the microphone hole.

Troubleshooting
One Earbud Not Emitting Sound (Manual Reset)
1. Access your device's Bluetooth settings and delete the "JBuds Air Icon".

2. Open the charging case and place the earbuds inside.
3. Quickly tap the touch sensor 3 times on each earbud. The blue light will flash, and then the earbuds will turn off. Once both earbuds are off, close the charging case.

4. Wait 10 seconds, then open the charging case. Wait for the white and blue flashing lights to appear on the right and left earbuds. You can now pair them with your Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth Device Not Connecting / Reconnecting
1. Access your device's Bluetooth settings and delete the "JBuds Air Icon".

2. Turn Bluetooth off and then on again.

3. Open the charging case and wait for the white and blue flashing lights to appear on the right and left earbuds.
4. Select "JLab JBuds Air Icon" in your device's settings to reconnect.

Call Quality
Echo during calls: If you experience microphone echo or low call quality while using the JBuds Air Icon, ensure that the Cush Fins do not obstruct the microphone input.

Quick Tips
- To avoid any damage to the charging case, dry the earbuds thoroughly before placing them inside. Unlike the earbuds, the case is not water or sweat resistant.
- Both earbuds can be connected to your device and used individually. Simply remove an earbud from the charging case, and it will connect automatically.
- The choice of ear tips affects audio quality by ensuring proper driver seal. For the best results, we recommend trying all included ear tips.
Attention
To avoid any damage to the charging case, dry the earbuds thoroughly before placing them inside. Unlike the earbuds, the case is not water or sweat resistant.
Precautions
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity.
- Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
- Earwax buildup on the ear tips may affect sound quality. Clean them carefully with a cotton swab or a similarly sized tool to improve sound quality.
- If you experience discomfort or pain, lower the volume or temporarily stop using the earbuds.
- If you experience persistent discomfort during use, discontinue use and consult your doctor.
- It is recommended to handle the earbuds with care and store them in a safe place when not in use.
