1. Important Safety Instructions
Hearing Safety
To prevent hearing damage, limit listening time at high volumes and set the volume to a safe level. The louder the sound, the shorter the listening time should be. Listen at a reasonable volume for a reasonable period. Avoid continuously increasing the volume as your hearing adapts. Do not increase volume so much that you cannot hear your surroundings. Be cautious or temporarily stop listening in potentially risky situations. Excessive sound pressure from headphones can cause hearing loss. It is not recommended to use headphones that cover both ears while driving, as this may be illegal in some countries. For your safety, avoid distractions from music or phone calls while in traffic or other potentially risky environments.
General Information
Caution:
- Do not expose headphones to excessive heat.
- Do not drop the headphones.
- Keep headphones away from dripping or splashing water. (Refer to IP rating for specific product details).
- Do not immerse headphones in water.
- Do not charge headphones if the plug or socket is wet.
- Do not use cleaning agents containing alcohol, ammonia, benzene, or abrasives.
- For cleaning, use a clean, damp cloth, especially around speaker and microphone openings. Clean regularly to avoid sweat or earwax buildup.
- If sweat or water drops remain in speaker or microphone openings, sound volume may temporarily decrease or cease entirely. This is not a defect. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the headphones thoroughly. Alternatively, remove ear tips, turn openings downwards, and gently tap the headphones on a dry cloth to remove accumulated water.
- Ensure headphones are completely dry before charging and use. Avoid using alcohol wipes or similar cleaning substances.
- The integrated battery should not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight or fire.
- There is a risk of explosion if the battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with the same battery type.
- To achieve the specified IP rating, the charging port cover must be closed.
- Disposing of the battery in fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting it, may result in an explosion.
- Leaving the battery in an environment with extremely high air pressure may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- Battery exposed to extremely low air pressure may explode or leak flammable liquid or gas.
- Replacing the battery with an incorrect type may lead to serious damage to the headphones and battery (e.g., with some lithium batteries).
If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will start to lose its charge. To avoid this loss, please fully charge the battery at least once every three months.
To avoid the risk of fire, the power supply must comply with PS1 (with an output capacity less than or equal to 15W).
Operating and Storage Temperature and Humidity
- Store in a place where the temperature is between -20°C and 50°C, with relative humidity up to 90%.
- Operation should be in a place where the temperature is between 0°C and 45°C, with relative humidity up to 90%.
- Battery life may be shorter at higher or lower temperature conditions.

Touch screen on the charging case. 4. USB-C charging port on the charging case. 5. Button on the charging case for Bluetooth pairing, resetting, or screen control.
3. Getting Started
Charging Battery
Note: Before using the headphones, place them on the charger and charge the battery for two hours for optimal capacity and battery life. Use only the original USB-C charging cable to avoid any damage. If the headphones are not used for a long time, the rechargeable battery will start to lose its charge. To avoid this loss, please fully charge the battery at least once every three months.
Charger
Connect one end of the USB-C cable to the external charger and the other end to the power source.
Tip: The external charger serves as a portable backup battery for charging the headphones. Once the external charger is fully charged, it can fully charge the headphones three times.
Earbuds
Remove the isolation film from the earbuds and place them back into the charging case. Close the charging case lid, and the case will begin charging the earbuds.
Tip: Under normal circumstances, it takes two hours (for the earbuds or the external charger) to charge via USB cable.
How to Wear
Choose the appropriate ear caps for an optimal fit. A firm and secure fit will provide the best sound quality and noise cancellation.
- Test which ear cap provides the best sound and comfort when worn.
- The three sizes of ear tips provided are: Large (L), Medium (M), and Small (S).
Putting on Earbuds
- Check the left or right orientation of the earbuds.
- Insert the earbuds into your ears and twist them until they achieve a snug fit.
Downloading the App
Scan the QR code or tap the "Download" button, or search for "Philips Headphones" on the Apple App Store or Google Play to download the app.
The Philips Headphones app gives you control over the music you listen to. You can adjust the sound to suit your listening preferences and phone calls.
Pairing Headphones with Your Bluetooth Device for the First Time
- Ensure the headphones are fully charged and turned off.
- Open the charging case. The earbuds will enter pairing mode, ready to connect. The LED light on both earbuds will flash white and blue alternately. The headphones are now in pairing mode and ready to be paired with a Bluetooth device (e.g., a mobile phone).
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device.
- Pair the headphones with your Bluetooth device. Refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth device.
Note: If the headphones cannot find the Bluetooth device they were previously paired with after turning them on, place them in pairing mode (press and hold the button on the case for three seconds while both earbuds are in the open case).
The headphones will automatically turn off after three minutes of Bluetooth inactivity. The exact time may vary depending on usage conditions.
The following example shows how to pair your headphones with your Bluetooth device:
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device and select "Philips TAT6000".
- Enter the headphone password "0000" (four zeros) if prompted. For devices with built-in Bluetooth 3.0 or newer, no password is required.
Pairing Headphones with Another Bluetooth Device
If you wish to pair another Bluetooth device with the headphones, simply place them in pairing mode (press the button on the case for three seconds while both earbuds are inside and the lid is open), then discover the device using the usual pairing process.
Note: The headphones store up to four different devices in their memory. If you attempt to pair more than four devices, the earliest paired device will be replaced by the new one.
Single Earbud (Mono Mode)
Remove the left or right earbud from the charger to use it in mono mode. The earbud will turn on automatically.
Note: Remove the second earbud from the external charger, and they will pair with each other automatically.
Multipoint Connection
Pairing
Pair the headphones with two devices, e.g., a mobile phone and a notebook.
Switching Between Devices
- You can listen to music from only one device at a time. The other device will be for phone calls.
- Pause audio from one device and play audio from another.
Note: When streaming audio from one device and receiving a call on another, the second device will automatically pause playback from the first device. The call will also be automatically routed to the headphones. Playback from the first device will resume automatically once the call is ended.
4. Using Your Headphones
Connecting Headphones to Your Bluetooth Device
- Turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device.
- Open the charging case lid. The white LED light on the earbuds will flash.
- The headphones will search for the last paired Bluetooth device and automatically reconnect to it. If the last connected device is not available, the headphones will search for and reconnect to the device that was previously connected.
Tip: If you turn on the Bluetooth function on your Bluetooth device after turning on the headphones, you will need to go into the Bluetooth menu on your device and manually connect the headphones to the device.
Note: For some Bluetooth devices, the connection may not be automatic. In such cases, you will need to go into the Bluetooth menu on your device and manually connect the headphones to the Bluetooth device.
