Product Features & Controls
Front View
- A: Time scale rotary selector (Tmax)
- B: Time setting (Tmin...Tmax)
- C: LED Indicator
- D: Function rotary selector
Time Scales
Various time scales are available, selectable via the rotary selectors. For example, to set a 10-minute time scale (T=10 min), set selector A to '20m' and selector B to '10'.
Available scales include: 0.1-2s, 1-20s, 0.1-2min, 1-20min, 0.1-2h, 1-24h.
Wiring Diagrams and Functions
NOTE: Time scale and function must be set before energising the timer.
3a: Without Signal START Functions
Start is initiated via a contact in the supply line (Terminal A1).
- AI: On-delay
- DI: Interval
- SW: Symmetrical flasher (starting pulse on)
3b: External START Functions
Start is initiated via a contact into the control terminal (Terminal B1).
- BE: Off-delay with control signal
- CE: On- and off-delay with control signal
- DE: Interval with control signal on
3c: External Load Control
It is possible to control an external load, such as another relay coil or timer, connected to the signal start terminal B1.
3d: DC Supply Polarity
With DC supply, positive polarity must be connected to terminal B1 (according to EN 60204-1).
3e: Alternative Start Voltage
A voltage different from the supply voltage can be applied to the command Start terminal (B1). Example: Supply voltage A1-A2 = 230 V AC, Start voltage B1-A2 = 12 V DC.

Working Conditions
In conformity with the European Directive on EMC 2014/30/EU, the timer relay exhibits a high level of immunity to radiated and conducted disturbances, surpassing the requirements of the EN 61812-1 standard. However, external devices such as transformers, motors, contactors, switches, and power cables can generate disturbances that may affect the timer's electronic circuit. To mitigate potential issues, wiring cables should be kept as short as possible. When necessary, the timer should be protected using appropriate RC networks, varistors, or surge voltage protectors.
