Diagrams and Functionality
1. Front View and Terminals
Illustrates the front panel layout and terminal connections for models 83.11, 83.21, and 83.41.
83.11 / 83.21 Terminals:
- A1, A2: Power supply terminals
- 15, 16, 18: Output contacts
83.41 Terminals:
- A1, A2: Power supply terminals
- B1: Control signal input
- 15, 16, 18: Output contacts
Dimensions: 86.2 mm height, 100.3 mm length, 22.5 mm width.
2. Time Scale Selection
Shows the available time scales for programming the timer functions, ranging from seconds to days.
Example: To set a 10-minute time delay, program Selector A to '10m' and Adjuster B to 'Max'.
Available scales: 1s, 10s, 1m, 10m, 1h, 10h, 1d, 10d.
3. Connection Diagrams / Functions (83.11-83.21)
3a. Operation delayed by power supply (A1):
- 83.11: Operation delayed upon power application.
- 83.21: Operation delayed after a START signal.
Diagrams illustrate the internal connections and timing sequences.
4. Connection Diagrams / Functions (83.41)
Start via control contact (B1):
- BE: Operation delayed after START signal.
4a. External Load Control: Allows control of an external load, such as another relay coil, connected to the start signal at terminal B1.
4b. DC Supply and External Start: When using DC supply, the external START (B1) should be connected to the positive pole, as per EN 60204-1.
4c. Different Supply Voltages: The external start (B1) can be connected with a voltage different from the main supply. Example: A1-A2 = 230V AC, B1-A2 = 24V DC.
Diagrams illustrate these connection scenarios.
