Safe Usage

Please read the following recommendations to extend the product's service life:

1. Do not disassemble or replace original product components.
2. Do not place the device in water or any other liquid, as this product is not waterproof.
3. Disconnect the device from other equipment if liquid gets into it, as this may cause fire or electric shock if the user continues to use it.
4. Ensure your hands are dry when installing the product to avoid electric shock.
5. Do not place the device near heat sources or open flames.
6. Do not keep the product in a strong magnetic field, as this may lead to incorrect device operation.

Device Description

The device has the following components:

• 1. USB connector
• 2. Wi-Fi LED indicator (Green indicates Wi-Fi is working).
• 3. Signal LED indicator:
  • Green: Modem connected to 4G or 3G network.
  • Red: SIM card is missing or incorrectly installed, and network access is unavailable.
  • Flashing Red: Modem is searching for a network.

SIM Card Installation

1. Remove the back cover of the modem.
2. Insert the SIM card into the appropriate slot.
3. Replace the cover; your USB modem is now ready for use.

Note: Do not remove the 4G SIM card or SD card when the USB modem is connected to any power source (computer or adapter), as this may damage the card and the modem.

Modem Usage

1. Install the SIM card.
2. Connect the USB modem to a computer's USB port in the correct position as shown.
3. Wait a few seconds until the LED indicator turns green, indicating the modem is connected to the network.

Disconnecting from the network (using Microsoft Windows):

• In the Windows system tray, select "Safely Remove Hardware and Eject Media," then disconnect the modem from the computer.
• When using a USB charger, disconnect the charger from the power outlet, then disconnect the modem from it.

Wi-Fi Setup

1. Install the SIM card.
2. Connect the modem to a computer's USB port or a USB adapter.
3. On your device, select the wireless network by the device's name (SSID) and click "Connect." If security measures are used, you will need to enter the network password correctly. The SSID and password are printed on your modem's sticker.

Note:

• If you are traveling or do not have access to a computer, our modem can be used with any phone charger with a USB port, 5V voltage, and current less than 1A.
• If you wish to change the network name (SSID) and password, please enter http://192.168.8.1 in the browser's address bar and go to the device management page; you can change them there.

Device Management

1. Ensure your device is connected to the modem.
2. Open a browser and enter http://192.168.8.1 in the address bar.
3. Enter the password and click the "Login" button. The administrator can check and change configuration permissions.

Note: The default login is 'admin', and the password is 'admin'.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems with the modem, follow these steps:

1. Log into the device management website and click the "Help" button in the upper right corner to find answers to frequently asked questions.
2. If the modem does not respond, reset its settings to factory defaults by pressing the "Reset" button for about 5 seconds.

Note:

• This modem can be connected to a computer or laptop via the USB 2.0 interface.
• To prevent modem damage, it is recommended to use it at temperatures above +35°C.
• This equipment complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of Directive 1999/5/EC.
