This user guide introduces the usage of the HKBN Smart App for the Momax Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Cool Purifying Fan. It focuses on smart action examples. Download HKBN Smart App

To control your Momax Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Cool Purifying Fan, download the "HKBN Smart" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can scan the provided QR code to download the app.

Add Device

1. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Tap "Devices" on the bottom menu of the HKBN Smart app.
3. Tap the "Add Device" button or the "+" icon in the top right corner.
4. From the left menu, select "MOMAX" and then choose "Ultra-Air IoT UV Hot & Cool Purifying Fan".
5. Connect the fan to power. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the Wi-Fi indicator light blinks rapidly.
6. Select your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and tap "Next".
7. Wait for the device to pair.
8. Once the device is added successfully, you can rename it and assign it to a room. The fan will then appear on the "Device" page.

Important Wi-Fi Tip: All smart devices are currently compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks only. Ensure your phone and the device are connected to a 2.4 GHz network. If you use the same network name (SSID) for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, temporarily disable the 5 GHz network during the device addition process.

Control Device

Main Control Panel

The main control panel allows you to manage various functions:

• Power: ⚡️ Turn the device On/Off.
• Wind Speed: Adjust fan speed by sliding the control bar. Cold mode offers speeds 1-9, while Warm mode offers speeds 1-4.
• Horizontal Oscillation: Press "Horizontal" to enable or disable the oscillation feature.
• UV-C Light: Press "UVC Lamp" to turn the UV-C light function On/Off.
• Auto-off Timer: Set the device to turn off automatically between 1 to 8 hours by tapping "Countdown", selecting the desired hours, and confirming.
• Mode Selections:
  • Boost: Maximum fan speed.
  • Sleep: Minimum fan speed (Speed 1).
  • Fresh: Fan speed cycles through 3, 4, and 5, with each speed running for 10 seconds.
  • Heat: Activates the heating mode.
• Heater Mode: Press "Heat" to activate heating, with adjustable temperatures from 1-30°C. The heater automatically stops when the ambient temperature reaches the set point to prevent over-drying and saves energy. It reactivates when the temperature drops below the set point.
• Sound Effect: Control sound notifications.
• Current Temperature: Displays the current ambient temperature.

Scene (Smart Action)

Create custom scenes to control multiple smart devices with a single tap. This allows for personalized settings like "movie time" or "welcome home".

Creating a Scene:

1. Navigate to "Smart Action" and select the "Scene" tab. Tap "+" to add a new scene.
2. Tap "Add Action".
3. Select the "Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Co" device.
4. Choose the desired function (e.g., "Switch", "On" or "Off").
5. Tap "Show on Dashboard Widgets" if desired, then tap "Save".

Adding Siri Command to a Scene:

1. In the "Scene" page, tap "Add to Siri".
2. Enter your desired voice command (e.g., "Turn On Fan").
3. Tap "Add to Siri" to complete the setup.

Automation (Smart Action)

Automate device actions based on pre-set conditions such as temperature, humidity, weather, or schedule. This allows for hands-free operation.

Example: Turn on Heater mode at 7:00 PM:

1. Go to "Smart Action" and select the "Automation" tab. Tap "+" to add a new automation.
2. Tap "Add Condition" and select "Schedule".
3. Set the execution time to "7:00 PM".
4. Tap "Add Action".
5. Select the "Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Co" device.
6. Choose "Warm Switch" and set it to "On".
7. Set the effective period (e.g., "All Day" or a custom time range).
8. Tap "Save" to complete the automation setup. You can enable or disable automations from this page.

Device Information

Access detailed information about your device:

• Device Name: View and change the device name.
• Device ID, IP Address, MAC Address: View network and identification details.
• Wi-Fi Signal Strength: Check the current Wi-Fi signal.
• Device Offline Push Notification: Enable or disable notifications when the device goes offline.
• Check for Firmware Upgrade: Check for and install available firmware updates.
• Remove Device: Remove the device from your account and the app.
