Product Description

This user guide introduces the usage of the HKBN Home App for the Momax Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Cool Purifying Fan. It provides examples of smart actions. Download HKBN Home App

To control your Momax Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Cool Purifying Fan, you need to download the "HKBN Home" app. Search for and download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided in the original document.

Add Device

To add your device to the HKBN Home app:

1. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Tap "Devices" on the bottom menu of the app.
3. Tap the "Add Device" button or the "+" icon in the top right corner if you have already paired devices.
4. From the left menu, select "Ultra-Air IoT UV Hot & Cool Purifying Fan" under "MOMAX".
5. Connect the device to power and press and hold the ON/OFF button until the Wi-Fi indicator blinks.
6. Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password, then tap "Next".
7. Wait for the device to pair. The Wi-Fi indicator will blink fast during pairing.
8. Once the device is added successfully, you can change its name and assign it to a room in the device settings or room management pages. The device will appear in the "Device" page.

Important Wi-Fi Requirement: Smart devices are currently compatible only with 2.4GHz networks. Ensure your phone and device are connected to a 2.4GHz network, not a 5GHz network. If you have a combined 2.4GHz and 5GHz network with the same SSID, temporarily disable the 5GHz network before adding the device.

Control Device

Main Control Panel

The main control panel allows you to manage various functions:

• ON/OFF: Turn the device on or off.
• Mode Selection: Choose from different modes:
  • Boost: Fan speed 9
  • Sleep: Fan speed 1
  • Fresh: Fan speed 3/4/5, runs for 10 seconds each
  • Heat: Activates the heater mode
• Current Temperature: Displays the current ambient temperature.
• Oscillation: Press "Horizontal" to enable oscillation.
• UV-C Light: Press "UVC Lamp" to enable or disable the UV-C light function.
• Auto-off Timer: Set the auto-off timer to turn off the device automatically (1-8 hours). Tap "Countdown", select the desired hours, and tap "Confirm".

Heater Mode

Press "Heat" to activate the heater mode, with temperature settings ranging from 1-30 °C. The heater will automatically stop if the environment temperature reaches the set temperature to prevent excessive drying. It will resume operation if the temperature drops below the set point, maintaining a warm environment and saving energy.

Scene (Smart Action)

Create custom scenes to control multiple smart devices simultaneously with a single tap. This enhances convenience and allows for personalized smart home experiences, such as "movie time" or "welcome home" scenes.

User Voice Command to Turn On/Off Fan:

To create a scene for voice control:

1. In "Smart Action", navigate to the "Scene" page and tap "+" to add a new scene.
2. Tap "Add Action".
3. Select the device and tap "Switch", then choose "On" (or "Off" to turn off).
4. Tap "Show on Dashboard Widgets" and then "Save" in the top right corner.

How to add Siri Command into Scene:

1. In the "Scene" page, tap "Add to Siri".
2. In Siri Shortcuts, select the scene you want to add a voice command to.
3. Input your desired voice command and tap "Add to Siri" to complete.

Automation (Smart Action)

Automations allow devices to perform actions automatically based on pre-defined conditions like environment factors or device status. This simplifies daily tasks and enhances living convenience. Automations can be triggered by Temperature, Humidity, Weather, or Schedule.

Example: 7:00 PM turn on Heater mode

To create this automation:

1. In "Smart Action", navigate to the "Automation" page and tap "+" to add a new automation.
2. Tap "Add Condition" and select "Schedule".
3. Set the time to 7:00 PM.
4. Tap "Add Action".
5. Select the "Ultra-Air Plus IoT UV Hot & Cool" device.
6. Select "Warm Switch" and set it to "On".
7. Tap "All Day" to set the effective automation time, or customize the effective period. If the time is outside the effective period, the automation will not trigger.
8. Save to complete. You can enable or disable the automation from the automation list.

Device Information

Access device information and settings:

• Basic Device Information: View Device ID, Wi-Fi Signal Strength, IP Address, and MAC Address.
• Device Name: Tap to change the device name.
• Offline Notification: Enable or disable push notifications for device offline status.
• Firmware Information: Tap "Check for Firmware Upgrade" to view current and available firmware versions. Tap "Upgrade" to start the firmware update.
• Remove Device: Tap "Remove Device" and then "OK" to confirm and remove the device from your account.
