Cable and Controller Safety
- Do not pull, twist, or sharply bend cables.
- Ensure cables are routed safely to prevent entanglement, tripping, or strangulation.
- The controller's electronic components warm up during use; do not cover the controller or place it on the heating pad while in use.
Inspection and Maintenance
- Regularly check the heating pad for signs of wear or damage. If damaged, used incorrectly, or no longer heating, it must be checked by the manufacturer before reuse.
- Never attempt to open or repair the heating pad or its accessories yourself, as this will void the warranty and may compromise functionality.
- If the mains cable is damaged, it must be disposed of. If it cannot be detached, the entire heating pad must be disposed of.
Usage Precautions
- Do not place sharp objects or heat sources (hot water bottles, other heating pads) on the heating pad when it is switched on.
Operation
Switching On
Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the heating pad. The display will light up, showing setting 1 and a 90-minute deactivation time. Use the '+' button to increase the heat level and the '-' button to decrease it.
Setting the Heating Position
- Position 1: Minimum heating, suitable for long-term use.
- Positions 2-5: Individually adjustable heating levels.
- Position 6: Maximum heating.
Note: The heating pad heats up fastest when initially set to a higher temperature. It features turbo heating for quick warmth within the first 10 minutes.
Warning: For prolonged use (several hours), use the lowest setting (Position 1) to prevent overheating of the body part being heated, which could lead to burns or heat stroke.
Automatic Deactivation Function
The heating pad has an automatic shut-off feature, stopping heat supply after approximately 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Repeatedly press the TIMER button to select the desired deactivation time. Once the set time expires, the pad turns off, and the display goes dark. To use again, press the ON/OFF button and select settings.
Switching Off
Press the ON/OFF button to turn off the heating pad. The display will extinguish.
Attention: If not used for several days, switch off using the ON/OFF button, remove the plug from the socket, and disconnect the control from the pad.
Cleaning and Maintenance
General Precautions
- Always unplug the heating pad before cleaning to avoid electric shock. Disconnect the control by removing the plug.
- The control switch must not contact water or liquids; use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners.
Cleaning the Heating Pad
- Small stains can be removed with a cloth or damp sponge, possibly with a little mild detergent.
- Do not dry clean, spin, machine dry, mangle, or iron the heating pad, as this can cause damage.
Washing Instructions
- For significant contamination, the heating pad can be machine washed.
- Use a 30°C wool program. For environmental reasons, wash with other laundry using a mild detergent according to dosage instructions.
- Caution: Frequent washing wears out the pad. Machine wash a maximum of 5 times during its lifespan.
Drying Instructions
- Immediately after washing, reshape the wet heating pad to its original size and lay it flat on a drying rack.
- Do not use pegs or clamps to attach the pad to the drying rack.
- Only reconnect the control when the plug connection and pad are completely dry.
- Warning: Never use the heating pad to speed up drying; this poses a risk of electric shock.
Storage
For prolonged periods of non-use, store the heating pad in its original packaging. Disconnect the control plug from the pad.
- Allow the heating pad to cool down completely before storing to prevent damage.
- Do not place objects on the heating pad during storage to avoid sharp folds in the wiring.
