- Place the kettle on a heat-resistant, flat surface.
- The minimum filling volume is 0.5 litres; the maximum is 1.7 litres.

Boiling Water
To boil water:
- Check that the appliance's voltage matches your region's power supply.
- Place the power base on a flat, stable surface. Plug the base into an earthed wall socket.
- Place the kettle on the power base.
- Open the lid by pulling the button backward.
- Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water and close the lid by pressing it down.
- Place the kettle on the power base, ensuring the plug is in the socket.
- Switch on the kettle by pressing the on/off switch down to position I. The indicator LED will light up.
- The kettle will start heating the water.
- The kettle automatically switches off when the water boils, and the indicator LED turns off.
Attention: Never switch on the kettle without water. If accidentally switched on without water, the boil-dry safeguard will automatically switch it off. Remove the kettle from the base, let it cool for a few minutes, then refill and switch on again. Ensure the lid is properly closed; otherwise, the kettle may not switch off automatically.
Switching Off the Kettle
The kettle switches off automatically when the water boils. If you wish to boil water again, wait approximately 30 seconds before switching it on to allow the switch to cool down. The kettle can also be switched off manually at any time using the on/off switch. If the kettle is removed from the base while boiling, it will not switch off automatically.
Attention! Condensation may form on the edge of the power base; this is normal and does not affect the kettle's function.
De-scaling
Limescale may build up inside the kettle, especially with hard water. Regular de-scaling is recommended.
- Use a suitable de-scaling agent for kettles/coffee machines and follow its instructions.
- Alternatively, use lemon juice: fill the kettle halfway with hot water, add the juice of half a lemon, boil, and let it cool for 30 minutes. Discard the water and rinse the kettle.
- Never clean the appliance with detergents, as they can cause damage.
- To remove the anti-scale filter for cleaning: remove the kettle from the base and let it cool. Do not remove the filter when the kettle is hot or filled with water. Pull the filter backward from the spout and clean it with hot water. Ensure it is properly reattached to the spout before use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance. Never immerse the kettle or power base in water or other liquids. Before cleaning, always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool down. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaning agents.
