Installation
Unpacking and levelling
Unpacking:
- Unpack the washer-dryer.
- Check for any damage during transport. If damaged, do not install and contact your retailer.
- Remove the four protective screws and rubber bushes from the rear of the appliance. These are essential for transport and must be kept for future use.
- Seal any gaps using the provided plastic plugs.
- Keep all parts for future moving. Packaging materials are not toys.
Levelling:
Install the washer-dryer on a flat, sturdy floor. Ensure it is stable and does not vibrate or move during operation. Adjust the feet to compensate for any unevenness, ensuring the angle of inclination does not exceed 2°.
Electric and water connections
Connecting the water inlet hose:
- Connect the supply pipe to the water mains using the supplied rubber gasket and filter. Ensure it is tightened securely. Connect to the cold water tap (marked C) or use the provided Y-connector for both hot and cold water taps. Before connecting, run water until it is clear.
- Connect the other end of the hose to the appliance's cold water inlet, located on the top right rear of the machine.
- Ensure the hose is not kinked.
- Water pressure must be within the values indicated in the Technical details table. If the hose is too short, contact a specialist or authorized serviceman. Ensure taps are open.
Connecting the drain hose
Connect the drain hose to a draining duct or wall drain between 65-100 cm from the floor. Ensure the end of the hose is not submerged in water. If connecting to an under-sink trap, remove any spigots or blanking caps.
Important notes on drain hose installation:
- Avoid hose extensions. If necessary, use an extension with the same diameter and not exceeding 150 cm.
- If the hose enters a standpipe, ensure the end does not go down more than 15 cm to prevent self-syphoning.
Electric connection
Before plugging in, ensure:
- The socket is earthed and complies with applicable law.
- The socket can sustain the appliance's maximum power load.
- The supply voltage is within the indicated range.
- The socket is compatible with the appliance's plug.
Your appliance is supplied with a 13 amp fused plug. For immediate use, plug it into a 13 amp socket.
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.
Replacing the fuse: Use a 13 amp ASTA approved fuse (BS 1362). Ensure the fuse cover is refitted. If lost, the plug must not be used until a replacement is obtained.
Removing the plug: If routing the cable through partitions, ensure either the plug is replaced by a fused 13A rewireable plug or the cable is wired directly into a 13A cable outlet controlled by a switch.
Disposing of the plug: Make the pins unusable before disposal.
Wire colours for alternative plug connection:
- Green & Yellow: Earth (E)
- Brown: Live (L)
- Blue: Neutral (N)
The first wash cycle

Detergents and laundry
Detergent dispenser
Use the correct dose of detergent for optimal results. Too much detergent can cause build-up and pollution.
Compartment 1: Detergent for pre-wash (powder). Remove extra compartment 4 if using this.
Compartment 2: Detergent for the wash cycle (powder or liquid). Pour liquid detergent just before the wash cycle starts.
Compartment 3: Additives (fabric softeners, etc.). Do not exceed the maximum level indicated.
Extra compartment 4: Bleach. Do not use hand wash detergent as it may create too much foam.
Bleach cycle
Use traditional bleach for sturdy white fabrics and delicate bleach for coloured fabrics, synthetics, and wool.
To run the bleach cycle alone: pour bleach into extra compartment 4 and set the Rinse programme. To bleach during a wash cycle: pour bleach into extra compartment 4, add detergent and softener, select the programme, and enable the Stain removal option.
Using extra compartment 4 excludes the use of the pre-wash cycle.
Preparing your laundry
- Divide laundry by fabric type and colour.
- Empty pockets and check for loose buttons.
- Do not exceed the weight limits (dry weight): Sturdy fabrics: max 5 kg; Synthetic fabrics: max 2.5 kg; Delicate fabrics: max 2 kg; Wool: max 1 kg.
How much does your laundry weigh? (Approximate weights)
- 1 sheet: 400-500 g
- 1 pillow case: 150-200 g
- 1 tablecloth: 400-500 g
- 1 bathrobe: 900-1,200 g

- Do not attempt repairs yourself; contact authorized service.
- Keep children away from the appliance during operation.
- The appliance door can get hot during the wash cycle.
- Move the appliance with at least two people; it is very heavy.
- Ensure the drum is empty before loading laundry.
- The door can get hot during the drying phase.
- Do not use to dry clothes washed with flammable solvents.
- Do not use to dry foam rubber or similar elastomers.
- Ensure the water tap is turned on during drying cycles.
- This washer-dryer can only dry clothes pre-washed in water.
Disposal
- Dispose of packaging material according to local regulations.
- Before scrapping an old washer-dryer, cut the power supply cable and remove the door.
Saving energy and respecting the environment
- Environmentally-friendly technology: The machine uses less water for optimal results, respecting the environment.
- Saving on detergent, water, energy and time:
- Use full loads to save energy (up to 50% compared to half loads).
- Avoid the pre-wash cycle for lightly soiled garments to save detergent, time, water, and energy (5-15%).
- Treat stains before washing to avoid high temperatures. Washing at 60°C instead of 90°C, or 40°C instead of 60°C, saves up to 50% energy.
- Use the correct detergent quantity based on water hardness, soil level, and load size to protect the environment. Avoid fabric softener where possible.
- Running the machine during off-peak hours helps reduce electricity demand.
- For drying, use a high spin speed to remove as much water as possible, saving drying time and energy.
Care and maintenance
Cutting off the water or electricity supply
- Turn off the water tap after each wash to limit wear and prevent leaks.
- Unplug the appliance for cleaning and maintenance.
Cleaning your appliance
Clean the exterior and rubber parts with a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
Cleaning the detergent dispenser
Remove the dispenser by lifting and pulling it out. Wash under running water. Repeat frequently.
Caring for your appliance door and drum
Leave the appliance door ajar to prevent unpleasant odours.
Cleaning the pump
The washer-dryer has a self-cleaning pump. Small items like coins or buttons may fall into the pre-chamber protecting the pump.
To access the pre-chamber:
- Remove the cover panel on the lower front of the washer-dryer using a screwdriver.
- Unscrew the lid anti-clockwise. Some water may trickle out.
- Clean the interior thoroughly.
- Screw the lid back on.
- Reposition the panel, ensuring hooks are secure.
