- Cupboard dry: Suitable for laundry to be stored directly (display shows "A3").
- Extra dry: For items like bathrobes and sponges needing complete drying (display shows "A4").
- By Time: Set drying time between 30 and 180 minutes.
[Note] If the laundry load exceeds the maximum stated load for wash and dry, perform the wash cycle, then divide the dried garments into groups and re-dry them in batches. A cooling-down period is always added at the end of each drying cycle.
Drying only: Use the cycle selector knob to select drying cycles (11-12) based on fabric type. The desired drying level or time can be set using the DRYING button.
Tips and Suggestions
- Divide Laundry: Separate by fabric type (cotton, synthetics, wool), colour (whites from colours, new colours separately), and delicates (use a fabric bag for small items or those with hooks like bras).
- Empty Pockets: Remove coins, lighters, or other objects that could damage the appliance or drum. Check all buttons.
- Detergent Dosage: Follow recommendations to optimize cleaning, avoid residues, and save money.
- Energy Efficiency: Use lower temperatures and longer durations for the most efficient energy consumption.
- Load Size: Wash up to the capacity indicated in the "Wash Cycle Table" to save water and energy.
- Noise and Moisture: Spin speed influences noise and remaining moisture content; higher speeds mean more noise but less moisture.
Care and Maintenance
[!] Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off and disconnect the washer-dryer from the mains power. Do not use flammable liquids.
Maintain your washer-dryer periodically (at least 4 times per year).
- Disconnect Supplies: Close the water tap after every wash to limit wear on the hydraulic system and prevent leaks. Unplug the appliance for cleaning and maintenance.
- Clean the Appliance: Use a soft cloth soaked in lukewarm soapy water for outer parts and rubber components. Avoid solvents and abrasives.
- Clean Detergent Dispenser Drawer: Wash under running water frequently.
- Care for Door and Drum: Leave the porthole door ajar after use to prevent unpleasant odours.
- Clean the Pump: The pump is auto-cleaning and requires no maintenance. Small items may fall into the protective pre-chamber at the pump's base.
- Ensure the wash cycle has ended and unplug the appliance.
- Remove the front cover panel by pressing in the centre and pushing downwards on both sides.
- Loosen the drainage pump cover by turning it anti-clockwise (some water may leak out).
- Clean the inside thoroughly.
- Screw the cover back on.
- Replace the panel, ensuring hooks slot in before pushing it into place.
- Check Water Inlet Hose: Inspect at least once a year. Replace if cracked or broken, as high water pressure could cause it to split. Never use previously used hoses.
Load Balancing System
Before each spin cycle, the drum rotates to distribute the load uniformly and avoid excessive vibrations. If the load remains unbalanced after several attempts, the machine spins at a reduced speed. If the load is excessively unbalanced, the distribution process occurs instead of spinning. Mixing small and large garments is recommended for better load distribution.
Accessories
Contact Indesit's Technical Assistance Service to check accessory availability. A stacking kit allows securing a tumble dryer to the upper part of the washer-dryer to save space.
Transport and Handling
Do not lift the washer-dryer by its upper section. Unplug the appliance and close the water tap. Ensure the door and detergent dispenser drawer are closed. Detach the filling hose from the tap and the drain hose. Empty all remaining water from the hoses and secure them to prevent damage during transport. Re-apply the transport bolts, reversing the removal procedure described in the Installation Guides.
