Safety Instructions

Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • This appliance is intended for household and similar applications, such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments; and farm houses.

Before First Use

  1. Remove the filter from the filter holder and rinse the filter and the carafe with hot water.
  2. Half-fill the water tank with water and place the filter and carafe back on the device.
  3. Press the On/Off button; the red RUN light will illuminate. The device will now be flushed with hot water.
  4. Turn the device off and empty the carafe. Caution: The water is hot.
  5. Your coffee machine is now ready for use.

Use

  1. Fill the reservoir with the desired quantity of clean drinking water.
  2. Place a paper coffee filter in the removable filter holder, or use the removable filter alone, as needed.
  3. Fill the filter with the desired amount of ground coffee.
  4. Place the carafe underneath the filter and press the On/Off button.
  5. Ensure the carafe is placed correctly on the hot plate.
  6. When you remove the carafe, a non-drip valve will automatically operate to prevent coffee drips onto the hot plate.
  7. When the carafe is placed back on the hot plate, the non-drip valve opens automatically, allowing any remaining coffee to flow into the carafe.
  8. Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter is empty.
  9. The carafe can remain on the hot plate, which heats up as soon as the coffee maker is switched on. The hot plate will keep the coffee hot until the coffee maker is switched off. (NOTE: For safety reasons, the hot plate will turn off automatically after a while).

Clock/Timer Setting

  1. To set the time on the display, press the Program button again. The display will show "CLOCK". Use the Hours and Minutes keys to set the current time.
  2. Press the Program button again; the display will show "TIMER". Use the Hours and Minutes keys to set the desired time for the device to switch on.
  3. When the On/Off button is pressed once, the red RUN light comes on, and the device starts immediately.
  4. To start the device at the preset time, press the power button again; the green AUTO light will come on. The device will turn on automatically when the preset time is reached.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Remove the detachable filter and empty it into the bin.
  2. Rinse the removable filter and the carafe with hot water after use.
  3. Regularly remove and rinse the other filter with warm water. These parts are not dishwasher safe.
  4. Decalcifying the coffee machine prolongs its lifespan. Use only products specifically made for decalcifying coffee machines. Always rinse the device with water after decalcification.
  5. Clean the outside surface of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.

Environment

This appliance should not be disposed of with domestic garbage at the end of its service life. It must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances.
