Safety Information

• By ignoring the safety instructions, the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
• Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and ensure the cord cannot become entangled.
• The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
• The user must not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the supply.
• This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and for the purpose it is made for.
• This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. It can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if supervised or instructed on safe use and understanding the hazards. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than 8 and supervised.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
• This appliance is intended for household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments; farm houses.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• This product complies with the conformity requirements of applicable European regulations or directives.
• This symbol is used for marking materials intended to come into contact with food in the European Union as defined in regulation (EC) No 1935/2004.
• The Green Dot symbol indicates compliance with German packaging recycling regulations.
• Separate collection / Check your local municipal guidelines.

Parts Description

The coffee maker includes the following parts:

Before First Use

1. Take the appliance and accessories out of the box. Remove any stickers, protective foil, or plastic from the device.
2. Place the device on a flat, stable surface, ensuring at least 10 cm of free space around it. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outdoor use.
3. Plug the power cable into the socket. Ensure the voltage indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting.
4. For optimal taste, run 2 or 3 brewing cycles with fresh water only (without coffee). After all water has passed through, switch off the appliance and let it cool for 5 minutes. Repeat this process with fresh water.

Using Your Coffee Maker

• Pour the desired volume of water into the water reservoir. The number of cups can be read on the water level indicator.
• Add the desired quantity of ground coffee. Replace the filter holder.
• To switch on, press the on/off button. The coffee maker will start working, and the pilot light will illuminate.
• Ensure the glass carafe is correctly placed on the hot plate.
• When the carafe is removed, a non-drip valve automatically operates to prevent coffee drips onto the hot plate. Replacing the carafe automatically opens the valve, allowing remaining coffee to filter through.
• Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter is empty. To switch off, press the on/off button. The red pilot light will go off.
• The glass carafe can remain on the hot plate, which heats up when the coffee maker is switched on, keeping the coffee warm.
• NOTE: For safety reasons, the hot plate will automatically turn off after 40 minutes.

Cleaning and Maintenance

• Wipe the exterior with a slightly moistened cloth, ensuring no moisture, oil, or grease enters the cooling slots.
• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool, as these can damage the device.
• Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
• Clean accessories with warm soapy water to prevent bacterial growth. Accessories are also dishwasher proof.

Environmental Disposal

This appliance should not be disposed of with domestic garbage at the end of its lifespan. It must be taken to a central collection point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the appliance, manual, and packaging highlights this important issue. The materials used in this appliance are recyclable. By recycling used domestic appliances, you contribute significantly to protecting the environment.
