Parts Description
The coffee maker consists of the following parts:
- 1. Cover
- 2. Funnel
- 3. Water tank
- 4. Glass jug
- 5. Hot plate
- 6. On/off switch with power indicator light
Before First Use
- Remove the appliance and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective foil, or plastic from the device.
- Place the device on a flat, stable surface, ensuring at least 10 cm of free space around it. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outdoor use.
- Plug the power cable into the socket. Ensure the voltage indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting.
- For optimal taste, perform 2 or 3 brewing cycles with fresh water only (without coffee). After all water has passed through, switch off the appliance and let it cool for 5 minutes. Repeat this process with fresh water.
Use
- Pour the desired volume of water into the water reservoir. The number of cups can be read on the water level indicator.
- Add the desired quantity of ground coffee. Replace the filter holder.
- To switch on, press the on/off button. The coffee maker will start working, and the pilot light will illuminate.
- Ensure the glass jug is correctly placed on the hot plate.
- When the jug is removed, an anti-drip valve automatically stops coffee from dripping onto the hot plate. Replacing the jug re-opens the valve, allowing remaining coffee to filter through.
- Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter is empty.
- To switch off the coffee machine, press the on/off button. The red pilot light will go off.
- The glass jug can remain on the hot plate, which heats up as soon as the coffee maker is switched on, keeping the coffee warm.
- Note: For safety reasons, the hot plate will turn off automatically after 40 minutes.
Cleaning and Maintenance
- Wipe the exterior with a slightly moistened cloth, ensuring no moisture, oil, or grease enters the cooling slots.
- Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool, as these can damage the device.
- Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher-proof.
