Safety Instructions

  • The manufacturer is not responsible for damage resulting from ignored safety instructions.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord, and ensure the cord does not become entangled.
  • The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
  • The user must not leave the appliance unattended while it is connected to the supply.
  • This appliance is intended for household purposes and for the purpose for which it is made.
  • This appliance shall not be used by children aged less than 8 years. It can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the hazards. Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug, or appliance in water or any other liquid.
  • This appliance is intended for household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments; by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments; Bed and breakfast type environments; and farm houses.
  • Electrical waste products should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or local store for recycling advice.
  • This product complies with the conformity requirements of applicable European regulations or directives.
  • A symbol indicates materials intended to come into contact with food in the European Union, as defined in regulation (EC) No 1935/2004.
  • The Green Dot symbol indicates registration with Der Grüne Punkt – Duales System Deutschland GmbH.
  • The product and packaging materials are recyclable, subject to extended manufacturer responsibility. Dispose of them separately according to illustrated packaging symbols for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid only in France.

Before First Use

  • Remove the appliance and accessories from the box. Remove any stickers, protective foil, or plastic from the device.
  • Place the device on a flat, stable surface, ensuring at least 10 cm of free space around it. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outdoor use.
  • Connect the power cable to the socket. Ensure the voltage indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting.
  • For a perfect taste, perform 2 or 3 boil cycles with fresh water only (without coffee). Once all the water has passed through, switch off the appliance and let it cool down for 5 minutes. Repeat this process with fresh water.

Use

  • Pour the desired volume of water into the water reservoir. The number of cups can be read on the water level indicator.
  • Add the desired quantity of ground coffee. Replace the filter holder. Press the on/off button to switch on the coffee maker; it will start working, and the pilot light will illuminate.
  • Ensure the glass jug is correctly placed on the hot plate.
  • When you remove the jug from the appliance, a non-drip valve will automatically operate to stop coffee from dripping onto the hot plate. Replacing the jug automatically opens the non-drip valve, allowing any remaining coffee to filter into the jug.
  • Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter is empty. Press the on/off button to switch off the coffee machine. The red pilot light will go off, indicating the coffee maker has been switched off.
  • The glass jug can remain on the hot plate, which heats up as soon as the coffee maker is switched on. The hot plate will keep the coffee hot.
  • NOTE: For safety reasons, the hot plate will turn off automatically after 40 minutes.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Wipe the outside with a slightly moistened cloth, ensuring no moisture, oil, or grease enters the cooling slots.
  • Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh or abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or steel wool, as these can damage the device.
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
  • Clean the accessories with warm soapy water to prevent bacterial growth. The accessories are also dishwasher proof.

Environment

  • This appliance should not be disposed of with domestic garbage at the end of its service life. It must be offered at a central point for the recycling of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the appliance, instruction manual, and packaging draws attention to this important issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By recycling used domestic appliances, you contribute significantly to the protection of our environment. Ask your local authorities for information regarding collection points.
