Important Safety Warning: Fire Hazard
[Fire Hazard] Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils). Doing so can result in death, explosion, or fire.
Loading and Pre-treatment
Loading Recommendation
For optimal performance, load items loosely and evenly around the washplate and agitator. Avoid laying items lengthwise around the washplate or agitator.
Pre-treating Before Running a Wash Cycle
[Water Faucet Operation]: Press the [Faucet] button once to turn the water on and again to turn it off. The faucet automatically shuts off after 10 minutes or when the maximum water level is reached. Water will drain if the level becomes too high or the lid is left open for 10 minutes.
On Load & Go™ models, with the faucet on, you can touch the [Temp] button to select water temperature or the [Load & Go] button to manually dispense detergent.
Using the Pretreat Fabric Brush
The pretreat fabric brush is designed for targeted stain treatment. To use:
- Turn the brush body to open it.
- Add liquid laundry detergent.
- Turn to close the compartment.
- To dispense detergent from the brush, press the button.
Advanced Features
Auto Sensing & Deep Water Wash
This washer is designed for efficient cleaning with less water. It automatically adjusts the water level to the optimal amount for the detected load size. For more water, touch the [Deep Water] button. Four levels are available: Auto, Medium, High, and Max Fill. Note that not all levels are available on all cycles. As the washer operates, items may settle; this is normal and does not mean more items should be added. It is normal for some items to be above the water line in high-efficiency washers.
Using the Dispenser
The Load & Go™ dispenser holds up to 1 liter of detergent and automatically dispenses the correct amount during the cycle. The feature is enabled by default unless disabled. To view dispensing options or set a detergent concentration (2X to 10X), touch and hold the [Load & Go] button for 3 seconds. Pull the drawer out completely for refilling.
Cycle Guide
Select the best cycle for your load by first choosing the type of items ("What to Wash") and then the desired wash method ("How to Wash").
Key: R - Recommended Cycle, a - Alternate Cycle, Blank - Cycle available but not optimal.
