Using Your Washer
WARNING: Fire Hazard
Never place items in the washer that are dampened with gasoline or other flammable fluids. No washer can completely remove oil. Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils), as this can result in death, explosion, or fire.
Follow these steps for basic operation:
- SORT & LOAD LAUNDRY ?: Sort and load laundry evenly around the washplate/agitator. Refer to the "Loading Recommendation" section.
- ADD HE DETERGENT & LAUNDRY PRODUCTS TO DISPENSERS: Use the dispenser drawer for powder HE detergent or the bulk dispenser.
- TOUCH POWER ?: Turn on the washer.
- SELECT THE DESIRED CYCLE FOR YOUR LOAD: Choose from "What to Wash" and "How to Wash" options.
- ADJUST CYCLE SETTINGS, IF DESIRED: Modify Spin, Temp, or Soil settings.
- SELECT ADDITIONAL OPTIONS: Choose from options like Deep Water, Delay Start, etc.
- TOUCH AND HOLD START/PAUSE ▶️: Begin the wash cycle.
Loading Recommendations
For optimal performance, drop items in loose heaps evenly around the washplate and agitator. Avoid laying items lengthwise.
Pretreating Before Running a Wash Cycle
Water Faucet Operation ?: Press the faucet button to turn water on/off. The faucet automatically shuts off after 10 minutes or when the max water level is reached. Water will drain if the level becomes too high or the lid is left open for 10 minutes. On Load & Go™ models, you can select water temperature or dispense detergent using the LOAD & GO button while the faucet is on.
Using the Pretreat Fabric Brush:
- Open the brush compartment by turning it.
- Add liquid laundry detergent.
- Close the compartment by turning it.
- Dispense detergent from the brush by pushing the button.
WARNING: Do not wash water-resistant or water-repellent clothing. Failure to follow these instructions may result in abnormal vibration, imbalance, physical injury, property damage, or appliance damage.
More Water When You Want It
The washer is designed for efficient cleaning with less water. It automatically adjusts the water level based on load size. Use the "Deep Water" option to add more water, with levels including Auto, Medium, High, and Max Fill. Note that items may settle, and it's normal for some items to be above the water line.
Using the Dispenser*
The Load & Go™ feature is enabled by default. Touch the LOAD & GO button to view dispensing options. Hold the button for 3 seconds to select detergent concentration (2X to 10X). Pull the drawer out completely for refilling.
*On models equipped with Load & Go Dispenser Drawer.

*Use this cycle to eliminate 99.9% of bacteria when used with Oxi additives. Preset cycle settings are required for proper sanitization. Add an Oxi product to the basket before starting the cycle.
Note: For models with removable agitators, the Normal cycle is recommended for normally soiled cotton or linen. The washer's government energy certification is based on the Normal cycle with all wash temperature and water fill level selections. It was tested as a User Adjustable Automatic Water Fill Control System washer. Default settings are Normal cycle, Warm Wash, and Auto Water level. Testing for models with removable agitators was conducted with the agitator installed.
