Product Series Overview

Cardinal Health offers several series of laboratory refrigerators and freezers designed for various laboratory needs:

• Premier Plus Series: Storage of critical samples/products that are regulated or require a higher degree of uniformity and stability generally over a long period of time. Features include high-performance, critical sample storage/regulated, reduced energy, and quiet operation.
• Premier Series: Storage of critical samples/products that are regulated or require a higher degree of uniformity and stability generally over a long period of time. Features include high-performance and critical sample storage/regulated.
• Pro Series: Storage of semi-critical goods, general research/clinical products for a range of durations (from days to weeks). Features include great performance, general and research storage, reduced energy, and quiet operation.
• Select Series: Storage of non-critical goods on a short-term basis; or low-cost, non-critical items for longer term storage. Features include basic refrigeration needs and non-critical sample storage.

Premier Plus Series

Cardinal Health™ Premier Plus Series high-performance refrigerators and freezers support sample protection and sustainability objectives.

These laboratory refrigerators and freezers are designed and constructed for laboratory use, offering both reliability and high-performance for best-in-class sample protection.

Controls with Setpoint Security:

Features easy-to-access controls with setpoint security:

• Setpoint security: Key-operated triple position switch for main power and alarm; locks in temperature and alarm setpoints to minimize error and prevent tampering.
• Digital display: Indicates cabinet temperature during normal operation, flashes during alarm condition or setpoint adjustment. Displays other values with touchpad sequence.
• Power failure icon: Illuminated when main power is interrupted.
• Service required: Illuminated when controller is in programming mode, or if simulated warm or cold conditions fail to occur during alarm test function.
• Touchpad data entry: Increases or decreases setpoint values in programming mode.
• Touchpad scan: Changes main display; also used to access various programming and service functions (alarm mute, recall 6 minutes).
• Alarm test: Pressing "up" and "scan" buttons creates simulated overtemperature and undertemperature conditions, activating audible and visual alarms; display flashes momentarily when test is complete.
• Graphic thermometer: Easy to view, shows normal, high, or low temperature condition; steady green for normal, flashing top bar for overtemperature, flashing bulb for undertemperature.
• Door ajar: Illuminated when the door is left open and the alarm is in "active" mode (not available on sliding glass door cabinets).
• Battery backup: Continuous charge provides full alarm function in case of power failure.
• Low battery alarm: Illuminated when the alarm system battery backup charge is low.
• Audible alarm: Audible and visual indicators are activated in the event of warm, cold, or power loss conditions. Mute silences the audible alarm with a 6-minute ring-back interval; the display remains flashing.
• Interior light switch: Enables interior lighting system (on applicable models).
