The top view shows the following indicators and controls:
- Charge indicator: LED light indicating charging status.
- Bluetooth indicator: LED light indicating Bluetooth connection status.
- Power/pairing button: Button for powering on/off, pairing, and taking pictures.
- Microphone: For speakerphone functionality.
Back View
The back view shows the following ports and attachments:
- Micro USB charging port: Port for connecting the charging cable.
- Keychain strap hole: For attaching the keychain strap.
Charging Your Speaker
- Connect the small end of a charging cable (not included) to the micro USB port underneath the cover on your speaker.
- Connect the other end to a USB charging port.
Note: When the battery is low, you will hear beeps. Approximately 10 minutes later, the speaker will power off automatically.

Turning Your Speaker On and Off
Press and hold the Power/pairing button for three seconds to turn your speaker on or off. The Bluetooth indicator blinks quickly, and the speaker enters pairing mode.
Connecting with Bluetooth
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is turned on and within 33 feet (10 meters) of your speaker.
- On your speaker, press and hold the Power/pairing button for one second (or until you hear a tone). Your speaker enters pairing mode, and the Bluetooth LED blinks.
- Turn on your Bluetooth device and turn on Bluetooth. Set your device to pairing mode, then select "NS-CSPBTCUBE". Refer to the instructions that came with your Bluetooth device for pairing information.
- If you are asked for a password, enter 0000. When pairing is complete, the Bluetooth indicator on your speaker lights solid blue.
- To disconnect from the paired Bluetooth device, press and hold the Power/pairing button on your speaker for one second. Your speaker disconnects from the Bluetooth device and enters pairing mode again.

Reconnecting to a Paired Device
When your speaker is not paired to a device, the Bluetooth indicator blinks blue.
When your speaker loses the Bluetooth connection:
Scenario | To Reconnect |
---|---|
Turn off your speaker. | Turn on your speaker. Your speaker searches for the last connected Bluetooth device and reconnects. |
Move the Bluetooth device out of range. | Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within 33 feet of your speaker. |
Turn off your Bluetooth device. | Turn on your Bluetooth device, then make sure that Bluetooth is on. |
Turn off Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device. | Turn on Bluetooth on your Bluetooth device. |
Connect your Bluetooth device to another Bluetooth device. | Disconnect your Bluetooth device from the other Bluetooth device, then set your device to pairing mode. Select NS-CSPBTCUBE on your Bluetooth device. |
Note: If a device does not automatically reconnect, you may need to reselect NS-CSPBTCUBE on your Bluetooth device.
Listening to Music
- Press and hold the Power/pairing button, then connect to your Bluetooth device.
- Begin playback on your Bluetooth device.
- Adjust the volume on your Bluetooth device.
Note: Use the controls on your Bluetooth device to control playback.
Taking a Call
- Press the Power/pairing button briefly to accept an incoming call.
- OR Press and hold the Power/pairing button to reject an incoming call.
- Press the Power/pairing button during a call to end the call.
Taking Pictures
- Connect your smartphone to the speaker using Bluetooth.
- Start your phone's camera.
- Quickly press the Power/pairing button on your speaker to take pictures.
Troubleshooting
Problem: No power
- Make sure that your speaker's battery is charged.
- Make sure that your speaker is turned on.
Problem: No sound or low volume
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is turned on, Bluetooth is turned on, and NS-CSPBTCUBE is selected.
- Turn up the volume on your speaker.
- Turn up the volume on your Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not muted.
- Make sure that your speaker is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
Problem: Cannot establish a Bluetooth connection
- Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device.
- Turn your devices off, then on. Re-pair your speaker and your Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your speaker is not paired to another Bluetooth device.
- Make sure that your speaker and Bluetooth device are both in pairing mode.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device supports Bluetooth v4.0 and below.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth device is not connected to any other device.
- Make sure that you have selected NS-CSPBTCUBE on your Bluetooth device.
Problem: My Bluetooth device keeps unpairing
- Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device.
- If the battery on your Bluetooth device is low, recharge the battery.
- If the battery on your speaker is low, recharge the battery.
Problem: "NS-CSPBTCUBE" does not appear on my Bluetooth device
- Shorten the distance between your speaker and your Bluetooth device.
- Put your speaker into pairing mode, then refresh your list of Bluetooth devices. For more information, see the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device.
Problem: The speaker does not control the phone's camera
- On your phone, go into the Bluetooth menu, then tap the settings icon next to the speaker name.
- In the PROFILES section, tap INPUT DEVICE (CONNECT TO INPUT DEVICE) or USE FOR INPUT, then go back to the camera.
- You should now be able to take pictures with the speaker.
