System Overview and Controls
Top Panel Layout
The top panel of the speaker system features several controls and ports:
- LINE IN: Audio input socket for connecting external audio sources.
- MIC socket: Microphone input socket.
- Microphone volume knob: Adjusts the volume for the microphone input.
- Play/pause button: Press to temporarily pause playback; press again to resume.
- Power on/off/battery level button: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off. Press briefly to display the current battery charge level.
- Previous button: Press to skip to the previous track or preset station. Press and hold to fast-rewind.
- Source button: Press repeatedly to cycle through available input sources (Bluetooth, LINE, USB, TUNER).
- Next button: Press to skip to the next track or preset station. Press and hold to fast-forward.
- Master volume knob: Adjusts the overall speaker volume.
- Display screen: Shows information such as battery charge level and selected source.
- Handle: For carrying the speaker.
Side Panel
The side panel contains the power input:
- AC power input socket: Connects the included AC power cord for charging.
Charging Your Speaker System
Connect the included AC power cord to the speaker system and an AC power outlet. Turn the speaker system off before charging. To check the charging status, turn the unit on by pressing and holding the power button, then press the power button again to view the battery charge level. Charging indicator circles on the display screen will blink rapidly during charging. The battery is fully charged when all four indicator circles are illuminated.
Checking the Battery Life
When the speaker system is turned on and not charging, press the battery level button to display the current battery charge level on the screen. The status is indicated by the number of illuminated circles:

Using a Microphone with This Speaker System
This speaker system is designed for a 3.5 mm, 2-pin microphone (not provided). If you have a 6.5 mm, 2-pin microphone, you will need a 3.5 mm to 6.5 mm converter (sold separately) to use it with this speaker system. 3-pin microphones are not compatible.

Using Your Speaker System
Connecting an Audio Device (Line In)
Connect an external audio source (e.g., VCD, CD, VCR, MP3 player) to the Line In jack on the top panel using an audio cable (not provided). Press the SOURCE button until "LINE" mode is selected on the display.
Pairing Your Speaker System with a Bluetooth Device
Your speaker system can store pairing information for up to eight Bluetooth devices. Ensure your Bluetooth device supports Bluetooth Ver.4.0+EDR and is not currently paired with another device. Consult your device's documentation for compatibility details.
- Ensure your Bluetooth device is within 30 feet (approx. 9 meters) of the speaker system.
- Turn on your speaker system.
- Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until "BT" mode is selected to enter pairing mode.
- Turn on your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth, and set it to pairing mode. Refer to your device's manual for instructions.
- On your Bluetooth device, select "NS-HMPS3018" from the list of available devices. The speaker system will pair with your device.
- Press PLAY/PAUSE to begin playback. Volume controls on the speaker system will also be active.
Note: The Bluetooth device should automatically reconnect to the speaker system when both are powered on.
Basic Playback Controls

MICROPHONE VOLUME KNOB | Use to adjust the volume of the microphone input. |
MASTER VOLUME KNOB | Use to adjust the speaker volume. |
USB Drive Playback
Insert a USB thumb drive into the USB slot. Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select "USB" mode.
Microphone Playback
Connect an external microphone to the Microphone jack on the top panel. Use the Microphone Volume knob to adjust the sound level.
Tuner Operation
Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select "TUNER" mode. The following buttons are used in tuner mode:

Troubleshooting
- No power: Ensure the AC power cable is securely connected.
- No sound or sound is distorted: Turn up the volume on both the speaker and the connected device.
- Buttons on the speaker do not work: Turn off and unplug the speaker system. Reconnect the power cord and turn it on again.
Safety Information
- Read this guide before making connections and operating the speaker system. Retain for future reference.
- Do not open the unit case; there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
- Turn off the speaker system when not in use. Disconnect from AC power supply if not used for an extended period.
- Do not install near heating sources or direct sunshine.
- Do not install in places exposed to moisture or rain.
- Install on a horizontal, flat, and firm surface with good ventilation. Never block vents to prevent overheating.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, clean rag. Do not use chemicals or detergents.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
