Important Safety Warnings
- WARNING: Never leave your child unattended.
- WARNING: Ensure that all locking devices are engaged before use.
- WARNING: To avoid injury, ensure the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
- WARNING: Do not let your child play with this product.
- WARNING: Use a harness as soon as your child can sit unaided.
- WARNING: Always use the restraint system.
- WARNING: Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
- WARNING: This product is not suitable for running or skating.
- This pushchair is suitable for children from 0 months up to 15 kg.
- This pushchair may only be used by one child at the same time.
- The maximum load allowed in the basket must never exceed the indicated limit (4 kg).
- Take care when going down escalators, as the rear safety catch may come undone.
- The parking device shall be engaged when placing and removing the children.
- Any load attached to the handlebar and/or the back of the backrest and/or the sides of the vehicle will affect the stability of the vehicle.
- Only use spare parts supplied or recommended by BE COOL.
- WARNING: Adjust the harness position according to the child's age, use the lowest backrest position, and adjust both for children under 6 months.
- WARNING: Never use the crotch strap without the abdominal belt.
- This vehicle does not replace a cot or a bed. If the child needs to sleep, they should be placed in a suitable carrycot, cot, or bed.
- Complies with European Safety Regulations EN 1888:2012.
Product Configurations
The Be Cool Pleat pushchair can be configured in various ways:
- Pleat Detail Reverse: Pushchair with the seat unit in the parent-facing (reverse) position.
- Pleat + Zero: Pushchair with a compatible Be Cool car seat attached.
- Pleat + Top: Pushchair with the carrycot (bassinet) attached.
- Pleat + Match: Pushchair with the carrycot (bassinet) attached, possibly in an alternative configuration or with accessories.
Assembly and Operation
Follow these steps for assembling and operating your Be Cool Pleat pushchair.
Step 1: Opening the Chassis
To open the pushchair chassis, release the folding catch labeled 'A', lift the handlebar upwards, and ensure it locks into the correct position.
Step 3: Attaching Front Wheels
Insert each front wheel into its corresponding plastic base. To detach the front wheels, press the button located under the plastic base and pull the wheel outwards.
Step 4: Attaching Rear Wheel
Push the rear wheel set into the corresponding hole and push until you hear it click into place.
Step 5: Releasing Rear Wheel
Press the button to release the rear wheel.
Step 6: Attaching Bumper Bar
Insert the bumper bar into the plastic base until you hear it click (indicated by 'A'). To release, press the button and pull outwards.
Step 7: Fitting the Hood
To fit the hood, insert the slots at the edge of the hood into the guides on the sides of the frame.
Step 8: Installing the Carrycot
To install the carrycot, position it on the chassis and push it downwards until you hear it click.

Step 10: Adjusting Handlebar Height
Press button 'A' on both sides to adjust the height of the handlebar.
Step 11: Locking/Unlocking Front Swivel Wheels
To lock the front swivel wheels, press the locking lever downwards. To unlock them, lift the lever upwards.
Step 12: Engaging/Releasing the Brake
To engage the brake, push the brake bar downwards. To release it, lift the brake bar upwards.
Step 13: Adjusting Footrest Height
Press the button on both sides to adjust the height of the footrest.
Step 14: Releasing Buckle
Press button 'A' to release the buckle.
Step 15: Adjusting Backrest Position
Use the lever on the backrest to regulate and adjust the position of the backrest upwards or downwards.
Step 16: Detaching Seat Unit
To detach the seat unit, simultaneously pull the unlocking levers situated on both sides and lift. The seat unit is reversible, allowing it to be positioned facing forwards or towards the parent.
Step 17: Folding the Chassis
To fold the chassis, press the button on the right side, then pull the locks on both sides upwards, and push the handlebar downwards. The folding catch will engage automatically.

Step 19: Adjusting Seat Belts
Always adjust the seat belts to fit the child whenever using the pushchair. The two side fastening points of the seats can be used for an additional harness. Your pushchair is approved for newborns. For babies under 6 months, pass the shoulder straps through the lower holes and fasten the shoulder protector pads using the Velcro. For children over 6 months, pass the straps through the holes that are most comfortable for the child.
Maintenance
- Wash plastic parts with warm soapy water. Afterwards, carefully dry all components.
- The cover can easily be removed for washing.
- Wash by hand at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Air dry in a shaded place.
- Prolonged exposure of the cover to sunlight may affect the stability of the fabric colour.
