1 Intended Use

This product is a USB-C™/USB-A to dual HDMI adapter, compatible with Windows® and Mac operating systems. It is intended for indoor use only and contact with moisture must be avoided. Using the product for purposes other than described may cause damage. Improper use can lead to short circuits, fires, or other hazards. The product complies with statutory national and European requirements. For safety and approval reasons, do not rebuild or modify the product. Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them safe. Pass the product on to third parties only with the operating instructions. 5.1 General

5.2 Handling

• If safe operation is no longer possible, take the product out of operation and protect it from accidental use. Safe operation is not guaranteed if the product:

  • is no longer working properly,

6 Overview

The adapter has the following ports:

• Port 1: Output: HDMI Ultra HD (supports up to 4K resolution)
• Port 2: Output: HDMI Full HD (supports up to 1080p resolution)
• Port 3: Input: USB-A
• Port 4: Input: USB-C™

7 Driver Installation

Note for Windows® 10 users: The driver will automatically install after connecting the product to your computer. If not, follow these steps:

Download and install the driver before connecting the product to your computer.

1. Visit: https://www.siliconmotion.com/chs/download/3Xf/a/index.html
2. Select the download link that matches your computer's operating system and version.
3. Unzip the folder and open the file to begin installation.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation process.

8 Connection

1. Connect one end of the cable to the USB-C™ port on your computer.
2. Connect the other end to an HDMI display input.

You can connect multiple displays (Windows® ≤8, MacOS ≤6). For example: a 1-in-4-out USB hub connected to 4x display adapters (sold separately).

9 Display Mode Setting

9.1 Windows®

1. Right-click on the desktop > Display settings > Display (select monitor 1 or 2) > scroll to "Multiple displays".
2. Select "Duplicate" or "Extend" from the drop-down menu.

Shortcut: Windows key + P > Select "Duplicate" or "Extend".

9.2 MacOS

1. System Preferences > Displays > select "Mirror" or "Extend".
2. (If a security warning appears) System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Open Anyway.

10 Cleaning and Care

1. Disconnect the product from any peripherals.
2. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.

NOTICE! Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol, or other chemical solutions, as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

11 Disposal

Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory guidelines. You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
