Warning
General Safety Precautions
- Installation Distance: Install the in.touch 3-CO module at least 12" (30 cm) away from any metal part or metal foil. Ensure it can be relocated under the spa for optimal reception.
- RF Exposure: Maintain a separation distance of 8" (20 cm) or more between modules and persons during operation to comply with FCC RF exposure requirements.
- Antennas: Antennas must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
- Power Supply: Use only the power supply unit provided with the in.touch 3-EN.
- Electric Shock Risk: Do not dismantle the unit; there are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.
- Cleaning: Clean only with a dry cloth. Avoid products like WD-40, which can damage the enclosure.
- Heat Sources: Do not install near any heat sources.
- Attachments: Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Servicing: Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required if the apparatus is damaged (e.g., power cord, liquid spillage, dropped unit).
- Disassembly: Do not disassemble or alter the apparatus.
- Isolation: Do not use foam to isolate the unit.
- Power Off: Turn power off before modifying cable connections, cleaning, or servicing.
- Disposal: Dispose of the product separately from normal household waste in accordance with local waste disposal legislation.
- Self-Service: Do not service this product yourself.
- Cable Replacement: Any damaged cable must be immediately replaced by qualified personnel.
- Flammable Materials: Do not install in proximity of highly flammable materials.
- Wiring: Improper wiring can cause damage. Read and follow all wiring instructions.
- Appliance Use: Not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience, unless supervised. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Compatibility Requirements
Modules

- ETSI (Europe): in.touch 3 & 3+ modules (868 MHz)
Spa Packs
Compatible spa packs: in.ye, in.yj, and in.yt spa systems manufactured in or after 2012.
Application
Compatible with devices running: iOS 8.0 or higher, Android 2.3 or higher.
Router and Installation Requirements
Any standard router with an available 100 Mbps (wired LAN) RJ45 port can be used. The router must also have its Port 10022 open (normally a default setting). A 3-foot (0.9 m) Ethernet cable is included.
The home transmitter requires a main supply (120V in North America, 220V in Europe) nearby for transformer connection.

Installation of the in.touch 3 & 3+ Module
CO Module (Spa) Installation
Step A: Prior to any installation, turn off the spa's power. Install the CO module unit under the hot tub skirt, as high as possible in a corner facing your home router. Ensure it is at least 12" (30 cm) from any metal component or structure for optimal transmission. Relocation may be necessary for best signal strength.
Step B: Screw the CO module with a #8 pan head screw, leaving slack on the cable to allow repositioning for optimal signal strength.
Step C: Connect the CO module into an available CO port of the control system. If multiple accessories are installed on the same CO port, the CO module must be installed at the end of the chain.
EN Module Installation
To allow communication between the CO and EN modules, the EN module needs to be installed on a router.
Step 1: Connect the power supply to the EN module.
Step 2: Connect your home router to the EN module using the LAN port with the Ethernet cable.

Troubleshooting
The product features three main LEDs representing the Home Transmitter (EN Module), Spa Transmitter (CO Module), and Water Monitoring board (within CO module). The EN and CO modules communicate via RF, while the Water Monitoring board communicates directly with the CO module.
Home Transmitter (EN Module) LED Status
- Rapidly flashing YELLOW: Pairing mode. To complete pairing, turn off the spa breaker, wait, then turn it back on. If pairing fails, the Spa Transmitter may be incorrectly connected, out of range, or defective. If previously paired and the switch is pressed accidentally, unplug and replug the Home Transmitter USB power cord.
- RED: No router detected. Ensure the router is powered and working, and the Ethernet cable is correctly connected at both ends. Try a different cable. If issues persist, the Home Transmitter may be defective.
- GREEN: Connected to router, but in.touch 3 server is unreachable. Check router configuration, specifically Port 10022. Verify internet connection and ISP status.
- BLUE: Normal state. Indicates a full internet connection to the in.touch 3 server.
Spa Transmitter (CO Module) LED Status
- Rapidly flashing YELLOW: Pairing mode, typically occurs during spa power-up or if the module was never paired. Refer to the pairing section.
- BLUE: Normal state. If blinking, refer to Blinking LED section.
Blinking LED (RF Link Issue)
If the LED blinks approximately once per second on either module, the RF link is not established. Causes include:
- Unpaired: Attempt to pair the modules again.
- Modules out of range: Test by moving the Home Transmitter closer to the spa. If the blinking stops, the modules were too far apart. If blinking continues even when close, one or both modules may be defective.
Pairing the Spa Transmitter (CO Module) and the Home Transmitter (EN Module)
Pairing is necessary when replacing a module. The in.touch 3 arrives pre-paired.
Steps:
- Power up the Home Transmitter.
- Press the pairing button (using a paper clip) until the status LED flashes YELLOW rapidly. The Home Transmitter is now in pairing mode.
- Turn off the spa's breaker, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. The pairing should complete within seconds, and the Home Transmitter LED will stop flashing YELLOW.
Note: Modules can be paired multiple times but only with a single counterpart at a time. Pairing information is stored permanently. Only the Home Transmitter can initiate pairing. If multiple spas are powered on during pairing, only the first one to connect will pair.
Water Acquisition (CO Module) Button and LED Status (Currently in Development)
The CO module in in.touch 3+ has a button with an LED for waterlab probe status, calibration mode, or on-demand samples.
- Blinking blue LED: Normal state for the Water Acquisition button.
- Full red LED: No probe connected or identified. Verify probe presence and connection.
- Full Purple Light: Firmware error. Long-press the LED button (5 seconds) to revert to the last firmware. The LED will blink purple. This process may take several minutes.
- Full Yellow Light: Physical connection established, but the probe is not yet identified/associated. Association is done via the in.touch 3 app setup flow.
