1. Package Contents

Get the EZVIZ App
To manage your device, follow these steps:
- Connect your mobile phone to Wi-Fi.
- Download and install the EZVIZ app by searching for "EZVIZ" in the App Store or Google Play™.
- Launch the app and register an EZVIZ user account.

[Note: If you have already used the app, ensure it is the latest version. Check the app store for updates.]
Preparations
1. Detach Cover
Detach the cover of the sensor at the designated detaching groove.

2. Remove Insulation Strip
Remove the battery insulation strip as instructed in the figure below.

Important Notes:
- When the battery level is low, a notification will be sent to the EZVIZ app.
- To replace batteries, use two CR1632 batteries.
- When replacing batteries, ensure the positive side faces up.
- Keep hands dry and clean when handling the circuit board.
Add Device
The open/close sensor is designed to work with an EZVIZ Smart Gateway. First, add the gateway to the EZVIZ Cloud, then add the sensor to the gateway using one of the following methods.
1. Method One: Add by Scanning QR Code
- Log in to your EZVIZ account via the app. Tap the device adding icon to access the QR code scanning interface.
- Scan the QR code located on the inner side of the sensor cover or on the user manual.
- Follow the app prompts to add the sensor to the gateway.

2. Method Two: Add by the Gateway
[ℹ️ Note: When adding the sensor via the gateway, place the sensor as close to the gateway as possible.]
- Put the EZVIZ Smart Gateway into device adding mode as per its user manual.
- Press and hold the RESET button on the sensor for over 5 seconds. The indicator light will flash rapidly blue, indicating the sensor has entered adding mode.
- The sensor will be automatically added to the gateway.
Installation
Installation Guidelines:
- Place the sensor away from magnetic fields.
- When doors or windows are closed, the distance between the sensor and the magnet must be less than 20mm.
- Clean dust from the surface of the door or window before sticking the sensor. Do not stick on limewashed walls.
- Align the installation instruction grooves on the sensor and magnet.
- The installation height should not exceed 1.8m.
- The working temperature range is -10°C to 55°C.
Installation Steps:
- Select a suitable location for the sensor.
- Fix the sensor in the selected place using the double-sided tape.
- Press the sensor firmly for about 20 seconds to ensure adhesion.

Operations on the EZVIZ App
[ℹ️ Note: The app interface may vary due to version updates. The interface on your installed phone app takes precedence.]
1. Homepage
Launch the EZVIZ app and navigate to the homepage of the related gateway. You can manage your detector from this page.
- Log: View the detection log of the detector.
- Dismiss: Clear alarms of the detector.
2. Settings
Access the settings menu for your device:
Parameter | Description |
---|---|
Device Name | Customize the name of your device. |
Alarm Settings | When enabled, a warning will be issued if the door contact is triggered. You can set notification parameters as needed. |
Linkage Camera | Select your camera to connect to the detector. Once connected, the camera will automatically pan to the location when the detector is opened or closed. |
Related Devices | View the gateway connected to your detector. |
Device Information | View detailed information about your device. |
Share | Share your device with others. |
Delete Device | Tap to remove the detector from your EZVIZ cloud account. |
