Product Profile
Preparations
To use the Kandao Meeting Omni, ensure you have the following:

Kandao Meeting S or Meeting Pro:
- 2-4 sets of Meeting S or Meeting Pro devices (including accessories).
- Firmware version requirements: Meeting S: V4.0 or above; Meeting Pro: V3.4 or above.

Host PC (purchased separately) with recommended configuration:

- Software: Download and install the [Kandao Meeting Omni] software from www.kandaovr.com/download/.
Connection Instructions
Connect the [Host PC] and multiple Meeting S or Meeting Pro cameras to the router via a wired network to form a Local Area Network (LAN).

Note:
- Meeting S and Meeting Pro can be mixed and used flexibly, supporting a combination of up to 4 sets.
- The Host PC and Kandao conferencing cameras can be connected to the same LAN.
- The distance between each conference device should be more than 1.5 meters.
Indicator Light Description
- Blinking Green: Starting up or updating firmware.
- Solid Green: Ready to use.
- Solid Blue: Camera working.
Remote Controller and Device Buttons Description
When using [Meeting Omni], only the "Power button" ? on the devices is functional. Other buttons and remote controls are unavailable. Operation is managed through the [Meeting Omni] client.
How to Use
Meeting Omni Authorization
Upon first launch of the [Meeting Omni] software, an authorization interface will appear. Copy the encryption information displayed and email it to kandao_meeting@kandaovr.com.
After receiving your license key from Kandao, paste it into the provided window in the interface and click "Authorize" to complete activation.
Note: Each Host PC requires authorization for activation when running [Kandao Meeting Omni] for the first time.
Combining Devices
- After connecting and powering on all devices, launch the [Kandao Meeting Omni] application on the Host PC.
- The software will automatically search for and display available devices.
- Select the cameras to combine (up to 4 sets).
- Click "Done". The video preview will automatically appear on the screen.

Note: If there is no sound or video preview, disable your firewall or allow access for [Kandao Meeting Omni] on all networks.
Starting a Meeting
Open your video conferencing application and select "Kandao Meeting Omni" from the camera/speaker/microphone device list.
Note:
- Close other video conferencing software when updating [Kandao Meeting Omni].
- An internet connection is not required for local multi-camera setups, but it is necessary for remote meetings.
Share Screen in a Meeting
- In your conferencing software, enable the screen sharing function.
- Select the window you wish to share.
- To share the screen of another computer, connect it to the Host PC via the HDMI IN port (requires a Host PC with an HDMI IN port). Then, in the sharing window, select "Kandao Meeting Omni" - "Projection" (Screen Mirroring).
Sound Controls
The speaker and microphone volume for [Meeting Omni] are controlled by the Windows system's audio settings.
Sleep Mode & Wake-up of Conferencing Cameras
- Sleep Mode: Short press the [Power button] ? on the camera to enter sleep mode. The camera will automatically disconnect from [Meeting Omni].
- Wake-up: Short press the [Power button] ? again to wake the camera, or click the [Connect] button in the Meeting Omni device list.
Power Off
Long press the power button ? on the camera or remote control for approximately 3 seconds to turn off the device.
Device Binding Description
To ensure privacy, cameras added to the [Meeting Omni] device list are bound to it until manually unbound.
- A bound camera cannot be bound or accessed by another [Meeting Omni]. To bind to a new "Meeting Omni", unbind the original one first.
- Devices can be removed from the [Device List] within [Meeting Omni], or unbound via the "Settings" - "Meeting Omni Multi-camera Combination Mode" menu in the camera's standalone mode.
- To disable connection between your camera and [Meeting Omni], navigate to "Settings" - "Meeting Omni Multi-camera Combination Mode" and select "Off" in the camera's standalone mode.

Note: The Kandao Meeting S features a 180° lens. Adjust the camera's orientation to cover as many attendees as possible.

Meeting Omni Function Introduction
Devices
Device List Actions:
- Beep: Click to make the device emit sound and blink its indicator light, aiding in identification.
- Disconnect: Disconnects the camera from [Meeting Omni] while retaining the binding.
- Connect: Establishes a connection between the camera and [Meeting Omni]. Upon successful connection, the camera's feed is automatically added to the preview.
- Remove: Removes the camera from the current combination and unbinds it from the [Meeting Omni] instance.
View Settings:
- Gallery View: Displays all participants in equal frames.
- Speaker View: Highlights the active speaker in a larger frame on the left, with other attendees shown in equal frames.
- Local Recording: Records the [Meeting Omni] preview and saves it to the Host PC, typically for in-person meeting recordings.
- AI Tracking: Intelligently recognizes and tracks speakers' faces, dynamically adjusting the number and layout of view frames.
- Lock and Zoom: Allows free adjustment of camera orientation and view layout. Choose layouts for 1-8 people in Gallery View and 1-7 people in Speaker View, with support for adjusting the view angle for each window.
Note: Local recording resolution matches the [Kandao Meeting Omni] screen resolution. Users can select 720p or 1080p in "Settings".

Screen Mirroring
Displays the screen of a computer connected to the Host PC via the [HDMI IN Port] (requires a Host PC with an HDMI IN port).
When using the "Share Screen" function in your video conferencing software, open [Kandao Meeting Omni] - "Projection" to share the screen of the computer connected via HDMI IN.
Settings
- Resolution: Set the resolution for video conferences and local recordings (supports 720p and 1080p).
- Video Save Location: Change or open the storage path for recorded videos.
- Version: Displays the current software version number.
- Update: Clicking this will direct you to the Kandao official website to download and install the latest version. Please close [Kandao Meeting Omni] before updating.
