Overview
The RainPoint 4-Zone Digital Water Timer features:
- LCD Screen: Displays time, settings, and status.
- Water Inlet: Connection point for the water source.
- + / Delay Button: Used to increase values or set delay watering.
- OK / Manual Button: Confirms settings or initiates manual watering.
- - Button: Used to decrease values.
- Zone Button: Switches between watering zones during setup.
- Setting Dial: Rotates to select different functions (OFF, SET CLOCK, START TIME, HOW LONG, HOW OFTEN, ON).
- Water Outlets: Four outlets for connecting hoses to different zones.
Important! Please Read!
- Activate the valve before first use or after a period of idleness. For first-time use, hold the OK button while inserting batteries for auto-test mode. Remove and re-insert batteries to return to normal operation. This is necessary if the valve has closed due to external factors.
- Use only with clean cold water.
- The filter traps dirt particles to prolong product life. Clean the filter regularly and replace if worn.
- In freezing temperatures, remove the timer from the faucet and store indoors to prevent freeze damage.

Installation
Follow these steps for installation:
- Step A: Screw the supporting part on the back of the water timer.
- Step B: Use the screw to install the bracket accessory onto the supporting part through the hole.
- Step C: Install the timer on the tap and mark a proper position before installing the brace.
- Step D: Drill a hole for screwing.
- Step E: Attach the brace with the screw.
Functions: Set Clock
1. Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
2. Use the + and - buttons to set the hours, then press OK to confirm and set minutes. Hold buttons for 3 seconds for quick adjustment.
3. Press OK to finalize settings. If minutes are still blinking, use + and - buttons to adjust again.
4. To switch between 12H/24H time format, press and hold the OK button during clock setup.
5. After setup, turn the dial to START TIME.
Functions: Start Time
1. Turn the dial to START TIME.
2. Use the + and - buttons to set the watering start hour, then press OK to confirm and set minutes. Hold buttons for 3 seconds for quick adjustment.
3. Press OK to finalize settings. If minutes are still blinking, use + and - buttons to adjust again.
4. Press the ZONE button to switch between zones during setting.
5. After setup, turn the dial to HOW LONG.
Functions: How Long
1. Turn the dial to HOW LONG.
2. Use the + and - buttons to set the watering duration (hours and minutes). Hold buttons for 3 seconds for quick adjustment.
3. Press OK to finalize settings. If minutes are still blinking, use + and - buttons to adjust again.
4. The maximum watering duration is 3 hours and 59 minutes. Setting duration to 0 hours and 0 minutes means the plan will not run.
5. Press the ZONE button to switch between zones during setting.
6. After setup, turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
Functions: How Often
1. Turn the dial to HOW OFTEN.
2. Use the + and - buttons to set watering frequency (hours or days), then press OK to confirm and set minutes.
3. Press OK to finalize settings. If blinking, use + and - buttons to resume setup.
4. Frequency options: every 8 hours, 12 hours, or 1 to 7 days.
5. Press the ZONE button to switch between zones during setting.
6. After setup, turn the dial to ON to run watering schedules.
More Functions: Manual Watering Mode
1. When the dial is set to ON, press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds to enter manual watering mode.
2. Set the desired zone: Zone 1 will blink. Short press the ZONE button to cycle through zones, and press OK to select.
3. After selecting zones, hold the ZONE button to confirm and proceed to manual water duration setup.
4. The minute display will blink. Use + and - buttons to set the duration. Hold buttons for 3 seconds for quick adjustment.
5. Press OK to start manual watering immediately, or wait 5 seconds for it to start automatically.
6. To stop manual watering, hold the OK button or turn the dial to OFF.
More Functions: Delay Mode
When the dial is set to ON, press and hold the + button for 3 seconds to enter delay mode setting.
Use + and - buttons to set the delay time for 0, 24, 48, or 72 hours, then press OK to confirm. Setting to 0H cancels delay mode. Delay mode also cancels if no action is taken within 5 seconds.
To cancel the delay mode, hold the + button.
Notes:
- When a watering plan involves multiple valves, the timer opens them sequentially by zone number. Only one valve operates at a time.
- The four channels cannot operate simultaneously. If multiple channels have the same start time, priority is given to one. After one channel completes, the next will begin.
More Functions: Off Mode
1. To stop all watering plans for an extended period, turn the dial to "OFF". Your settings are saved.
2. The timer will not water automatically in OFF mode. The screen displays "OFF" in large letters.
3. To resume automatic watering, turn the dial back to "ON".
Battery Status
Battery status is displayed as follows:
Low Power: A low battery indicator will appear on the display.
Note: When the low battery indicator is shown, the valve will automatically close to prevent leakage. Replace batteries promptly to avoid interrupting normal operation.
Troubleshooting

Warnings
- Intended for outdoor use only. Sheltered outdoor placement prolongs product lifetime.
- Do not overtighten the timer when using tools; tighten by hand to avoid damage.
- Ensure the filter is placed horizontally in the top connector before installation to prevent leakage. Use a filter and thread seal tape if necessary.
- The mesh filter prevents dirt particles, prolonging the life of the hose timer. Clean the filter regularly and replace if worn.
- When power is low, replace batteries promptly to avoid interrupting normal operation. Ensure the battery compartment is dry when replacing batteries.
- When not in use, remove batteries, drain, and store indoors away from freezing.
- Do not use the timer in temperatures above 122°F (50°C) or below 37.4°F (3°C).
- Do not subject the product to extreme force or shock.
- Severe electrical shock may result if water sprays into outlets or electrical current sources. Never immerse the product in water.
