Product Installation
Installing the Batteries
- Remove the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
- Install 2 new AA (1.5V) alkaline batteries (not included).
- Firmly reinstall the battery back into the timer.
Notes: Firmly restore the battery to ensure water resistance. Remove old batteries at the end of the watering season and dispose of them properly. Used or dead batteries must be removed and disposed of properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Replace batteries when the [Low Battery Indicator] appears on the display.
Installing the Timer
- Attach the timer to an outdoor hose faucet.
- Turn on the tap after programming the timer.
Notes: When programming, turn off the tap to avoid getting wet. Do not install the timer with tools; hand-tighten only. Keep away from freezing; remove the timer to avoid freezing damage. Keep the filter clean and in place to prolong the timer's life.
Programming Your Timer
Step 1: Set Clock
- Turn dial to SET CLOCK.
- Hold the [OK Button] to switch between 12H (with AM/PM) and 24H (without AM/PM) modes.
- [Selected Day of Week] flashes: Use the [+] Button to set the day of the week and press [OK Button] to confirm.
- [Hour] flashes (e.g., "00:"): Use the [+] Button to set the hour and press [OK Button] to confirm.
- [Minute] flashes (e.g., ":00"): Use the [+] Button to set the minute and turn the Dial to save changes.
Tips: Hold the [+] Button to increase time quickly. Turn the Dial to save changes at the end of setting.
Step 2: Start Time
- Turn the Dial to START TIME.
- Use the [+] Button to set the start time and press [OK Button] to confirm.
- Press [OK Button] again to switch to the next watering plan (P1, P2, P3).
- Turn the Dial to confirm changes.
- To turn off a start time for a plan, set it to "24:xx" (24H mode) or "12:xx PM" (12H mode) and press [OK Button]. A flashing "OFF" will appear.
Tips: Hold the [+] Button to increase time quickly. To reactivate an "OFF" plan, press the [+] Button for that plan.
Step 3: How Long
- Turn the Dial to HOW LONG. (A watering duration icon will display).
- Use the [+] Button to set the watering duration (1 minute to 3 hours 59 minutes) and press [OK Button] to confirm.
- Press [OK Button] again to set the next watering plan.
- Turn the Dial to confirm changes.
- To turn off watering duration for a plan, set it to "00 H 00 M" and press [OK Button]. A flashing "OFF" will appear.
Tips: Hold the [+] Button to increase time quickly. To reactivate an "OFF" plan, press the [+] Button for that plan.
Step 4: How Often
- Turn the Dial to HOW OFTEN.
- Choose one of two watering frequency modes:
- Monday to Sunday:
- When [Selected Day of Week] is flashing, use [+] Button to select days and press [OK Button] to confirm.
- When [Selected Day of Week] is always displayed, the day is selected. Press [OK Button] to cancel selection.
- Turn the Dial to confirm changes.
- Every 2/3/4/5/6 Days Mode:
- Press [+] Button to select "Every" mode. [Interval Watering Days] will flash.
- Use [+] Button to select the interval (2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 days) and press [OK Button] to confirm.
- Turn the Dial to confirm changes.
Note: Only one frequency mode can be chosen. Turn the Dial to save changes.
Step 5: View Set
- Turn the Dial to VIEW SET.
- Press the [OK Button] to review settings for Start Time, How Long, and How Often for all 3 watering plans.
Step 6: Auto Watering
- Turn the Dial to ON. All programmed watering plans will run automatically.
- During watering: Display shows remaining watering time and flashes. Pressing [+] Button shows current day and time.
- When not watering: Displays current day and time. If plans are set but not running, it shows [Time Left to Next Watering].
Note: If no watering plans are set (start time or duration is OFF for all plans), only the current day and time will be displayed. Refer to Step 2 and Step 3 to turn off specific plans.
Additional Features
Manual/Hand Watering
This feature allows watering without interrupting the set schedule. Follow these steps:
- With the Dial in the "ON" position, hold the [OK Button] to start manual watering. The default duration is 10 minutes and cannot be changed.
- To stop manual watering: Hold the [OK Button] again, or turn the Dial to "OFF" and then back to "ON".
Note: There is a slight delay between pressing [OK Button] and watering starting.
OFF Mode
- Turn the Dial to OFF to stop all watering plans for an extended period. Settings are saved.
- The timer will not run automatically in OFF mode. The screen will display "OFF".
- Turn the Dial back to ON to resume programmed watering.

Warnings
- For outdoor use ONLY.
- Clean the filter regularly and replace if worn to extend timer life.
- Do not use water over 120°F (50°C) or below 38°F (3°C).
- In winter, remove batteries, drain, and store indoors away from freezing.
- Do not install the timer with tools; hand-tighten ONLY. Using tools may damage the timer.
- Do not subject the product to extreme force and shock.
- Severe electrical shock could result if water sprays into outlets or sources of electrical current. Never immerse the product in water.

RainPoint provides a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
- Warranty service must be performed by an authorized service center. The original dated bill of sale is required as proof of purchase.
