Installation Diagrams
The following diagrams illustrate the installation and assembly of the GROHE shower rail system. Part numbers are indicated for reference.
- Diagram 1a: Depicts the mounting of a component to a wall. It shows the use of screws and wall plugs, with a specified hole diameter of Ø6. Key part numbers include 27 845, 620 = 27 892, 920 = 27 841, and 27 842.
- Diagram 1b: Similar to 1a, this diagram shows an alternative mounting method or component. It also indicates a hole diameter of Ø6 and a measurement of 7.5. Part numbers are 27 845, 620 = 27 892, 920 = 27 841, and 27 842.
- Diagram 2: Illustrates the process of attaching the main rail (part number 48 179) to wall-mounted brackets.
- Diagram 3: Shows how to attach the sliding bracket (part number 48 180) onto the rail, labeled with '2' for a specific step or component.
Care and Maintenance Instructions
To ensure your GROHE fitting provides long-lasting satisfaction and pleasure, please follow these care instructions. Damage to the surface or material resulting from improper treatment is not covered by warranty.
General Cleaning Advice:
Clean the fitting with a little soap and a moist cloth only. After cleaning, simply rinse off with clean water and wipe dry with a soft cloth. This simple routine helps prevent water spots and maintains the fitting's appearance.
What to Avoid:
- Do not use abrasive sponges or scouring agents for cleaning, as these can scratch and dull the surface.
- Avoid cleaning agents containing solvents or acids, limescale removers, household vinegar, or cleaning agents with acetic acid. These aggressive chemicals can damage the fitting's surface, leaving it dull and scratched.
- Please note that the formulations of commercially available cleaning agents frequently change, and therefore, GROHE cannot guarantee their gentle care for the fittings.
Recommended Cleaning Product:
If lime deposits do occur, remove them with GrohClean, GROHE's environment-friendly cleaning liquid. GrohClean is specially formulated to gently clean and protect the surface of GROHE fittings.
