General Information & Difficulty
Installation Difficulty: The installation difficulty is rated from low to high, as indicated by the visual scale.
Important Notes: Proper installation following these instructions is required. Ensure correct connections and route cables carefully to prevent kinking, crimping, or damage. Keep cables away from moving parts and ensure they are not entangled, pinched, or damaged in any way. INBAY is not liable for damage due to improper installation or utilization. Use only the specified accessory parts to prevent product failure. Subject to technical modifications; no responsibility is accepted for the accuracy of this information. Installation Steps
Step 1: Accessing the Console
Begin by opening the center console armrest. The image shows the armrest being lifted to access the area beneath.
Step 2: Removing Console Trim
Carefully remove the center console trim panel surrounding the gear shifter and cup holders. The image depicts hands releasing clips ? indicated by upward arrows ⬆️ to detach the panel.
Step 3: Disconnecting Wiring
Disconnect the electrical wiring harnesses connected to the console components. The image shows a hand disconnecting a wire connector.
Step 4: Removing Gear Shift Knob
Remove the gear shift knob by rotating it counter-clockwise. The image shows a hand performing this action with a rotational arrow ↪️.
Step 5: Removing OEM Mat
Remove the original equipment (OEM) mat from the bottom of the console compartment. This mat is held in place by clips on its rear side. The image shows a hand pointing to these clips.
Step 6: Releasing Panel Clips
Release the clips securing the main console panel. The image shows hands releasing multiple clips ? (highlighted with circles and indicated by arrows ⬆️) to detach the panel.
Step 7: Connecting to +12V Power
Connect the charging system's power cable to the +12V socket, typically the cigarette lighter plug. The image shows a connector being plugged into the +12V socket.
Step 8: Wiring Connections
Connect the various wiring harnesses as shown in the images. A diagram illustrates the cable harness configuration, with connectors being plugged together. The image shows a hand connecting a wire harness.
Step 9: Cable Routing
Route the cables neatly through the center console area, ensuring they are not pinched or stressed. The image shows a hand guiding cables.
Step 10: Further Cable Management
Continue routing cables and making necessary connections, particularly near the USB ports. The image shows cables being managed and connected.
Step 11: Re-installing Trim Components
Re-install the removed trim pieces and panels. The image shows a trim piece being placed back and secured, with arrows ⬆️ indicating clip engagement points.
Step 12: Connecting Main Harness and Tray
Connect the main power harness to the charging unit and place the wireless charging tray into its designated slot in the console. The image shows a harness connection and the tray being positioned.
Step 13: Securing the Tray

Step 14: Final Wiring Connections

Step 15: Reassembling Console

LED Status Indicators
Red LED: Standby mode.
Blue LED: Charging in progress.
Orange LED: Charging.
Orange LED flashing: Foreign Object Detection (FOD) active. Charging is stopped for safety reasons. This can occur if foreign objects like coins or credit cards are detected, or if a smartphone with an attached ring stand holder is used.
Green LED*: Indicates 100% charge. (*Depends on the connected smartphone.)
Important Safety Information
Integrated Foreign Object Detection (FOD)
⚠️ WICHTIGE INFORMATION: Please do not place any other objects such as coins, credit cards, etc., onto the INBAY surface. Especially smartphones with attached ring stand holders must not be used! Otherwise, the integrated Foreign Object Detection (FOD) will interrupt wireless charging for safety reasons.
+12V Socket Usage Limit
⚠️ ACHTUNG! After installation, devices/consumers with more than 5A / 60W shall not be operated on the +12V socket. Otherwise, a risk of overvoltage can occur!
The +12V socket has a maximum rating of 5A / 60W.

Manual Placement
