The recommended ambient temperature for optimal performance is 10-27°C (50-81°F).

Care & Maintenance
Cleaning
Ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning.
- To clean the interior, use a soft cloth and a solution of one tablespoon of baking soda per quart of water or a mild detergent solution.
- Wash removable shelves in a mild detergent solution, then dry and wipe with a soft cloth.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent.

Note: Do not use cleaners containing ammonia or alcohol, as they can damage the appliance's finish. Never use commercial or abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.
Power Failure
Most power failures are corrected within a few hours and should not affect the temperature if you minimize door openings. If the power will be off for an extended period, take steps to protect contents.
Note: Wait 3 to 5 minutes before attempting to restart the refrigerator if operation has been interrupted.
Defrost
This unit has automatic defrost. Defrost water is channeled to a drip tray above the compressor, where it evaporates due to compressor heat.

- Short vacations (less than 3 weeks): Leave the appliance operating.
- Long vacations: Remove all items, turn off the appliance, and clean/dry the interior thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold, leave the door slightly open, blocking it open if necessary.
