- Add a small amount of cold liquid or reduce ingredients if blades are not running smoothly.
Caution:
Exercise caution when handling the stainless steel blade attachment, as the blades may get hot during use. If blending warm ingredients, take care when removing the attachment, as pressure build-up may cause ingredients to spout from the lid.
Do Not:
- Attempt to remove the stainless steel blade attachment until blades have fully stopped moving.
- Dry blend ingredients for more than 45 seconds at a time.
- Blend hot liquid or food; this could cause spillage and damage the processor.
- Exceed the max. fill mark when adding ingredients.
- Operate when the mixing bowl is empty, cracked, or broken.

STEP 1:
Wipe the food processor base unit with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.

Instructions for Use
Before First Use:
Wash all accessories in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Wipe the food processor base unit with a soft, damp cloth and allow to dry thoroughly.
Never touch the blades; the stainless steel blade attachment should be washed using a brush and dried carefully.
Do not immerse the food processor base unit in water or any other liquid.
Note: When using the food processor for the first time, a slight odour may be emitted. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the food processor.
Assembling/Using the Compact Prep Pro
All attachments must be securely fitted before use; do not attempt to remove them until the blades have stopped moving.
- Before connecting to the mains power supply, position the food processor base unit onto a flat, stable surface, at a height comfortable for the user.
- Place the mixing bowl onto the food processor base unit and twist anticlockwise until it locks into place.
- Position the desired attachment onto the shaft in the centre of the mixing bowl and press firmly down until it locks into place. The blade attachment is for blending; the whipping disc is for whipping cream.
- Add ingredients to the mixing bowl, taking care not to exceed the max. fill mark. If there are few ingredients, add the spacer onto the shaft after adding ingredients.
- Place the lid on top of the mixing bowl and turn anticlockwise until it locks into place.
- Plug in and switch on the food processor at the mains power supply.
- Press and hold the desired multidirectional button. The right button (forward mode) is for grating, chopping, or grinding. The left button (reverse mode) is for mixing, stirring, or whipping.
- Once finished, switch off and unplug the food processor.
- Turn the mixing bowl clockwise and lift away.
Note: Check that the lid is securely fitted before use.
To prevent overheating, do not dry blend ingredients for more than 45 seconds at a time. If blades are not running smoothly, stop the processor, carefully remove the cross-blade attachment. Add a small amount of cold liquid or reduce ingredients in the mixing bowl.
Caution: Take care when handling the cross-blade attachment, as blades may get hot during use.
Warning: Do not blend warm or hot liquid or food, as this may cause pressure build-up and serious injury.
Using the Spacer
When using the food processor with a small amount of ingredients, the spacer can be used to keep food near the blades. Use the processor as normal; after adding ingredients, attach the spacer to the shaft above them. Fit the lid and continue as instructed in 'Assembling/Using the Compact Prep Pro'.
