• Wipe the exterior of the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Allow it to dry thoroughly before storing or using.
• Never immerse the scale in water or any other liquid. This can cause irreparable damage to the internal mechanisms.
• Avoid using harsh or abrasive cleaning detergents, scouring pads, or metal scourers, as these can scratch or damage the scale's surface.
• The bowl supplied with the scale is not microwave-safe. Do not place it in a microwave oven.
• Prevent the scale or bowl from coming into contact with strongly flavored or colored foods, or acidic substances such as citrus fruits. Such contact can stain or damage the plastic surface.
• Note: If using ingredients that may stain or damage the surface, it is recommended to line the bowl or scale with plastic film or greaseproof paper before weighing. Clean the scale or bowl immediately after use in such cases.

Using the Mechanical Kitchen Scale

Follow these steps for accurate weighing:

1. Step 1: Position the scale on a firm, flat, and stable surface. Ensure it is level for accurate readings.
2. Step 2: Place the empty bowl provided onto the scale's platform. Verify that the pointer is precisely at the '0' mark before adding any ingredients.
3. Step 3: To adjust the pointer to '0' if it is not aligned, slowly turn the rotating knob located on the scale. Gently tap the bowl to allow the mechanism to settle. Re-adjust the pointer if necessary.
4. Note: For the best results when weighing solid ingredients, place them in the center of the bowl provided. This ensures the weight is distributed evenly for accurate measurement.
