1. Software Overview
LotusLantern is a mobile application designed to control LED strips using both Apple and Android smartphones. It offers a modern alternative to traditional control methods like infrared, 433MHz, and 24GHz, providing a convenient, powerful, and scalable user experience.
Through the LotusLantern app, users can:
- Control the color, brightness, and color temperature of LED strips.
- Set various dynamic lighting modes.
- Synchronize LED strip lighting with music rhythm.
- Set up and control multiple LED strips via Bluetooth.
The app is designed for simplicity, ease of learning, and user-friendliness.

2. Operating Environment
The LotusLantern application requires smartphones running Android 4.3 or later, and iOS 8.0 or later. Mobile phone configuration requirements are not restrictive.
3. Instructions
Note: The download and usage methods for the Android and iOS versions are identical. The following instructions use the Android version as an example.
3.1 APP Download
To download the LotusLantern app, scan the provided QR code using your device's camera or a QR code scanner application. Both iOS and Android systems can download the app this way.
Setup Steps:
- Connect the LED color strip and the controller.
- Power on the controller.
- Start the LotusLantern APP.
- Search for and connect to the controller via Bluetooth.
Connection Check: Ensure the USB interface is correctly connected. If the LED strip lights are not functioning properly after connecting to the power supply, verify the USB connection orientation.
Remote Control Note: If your remote control is not functioning correctly, please ensure the insulating sheet has been removed.
3.2 App Operation
- Tap the LotusLantern APP icon to enter the application interface.
- If Bluetooth is not enabled on your device, the app will prompt you to enable it. Tap [Allow] to proceed.
- Navigate to the color and brightness interface.
Within the color and brightness interface:
- Tap the color wheel to change the LED strip color.
- Use the lamp switch button (toggle switch icon) to turn the lights on or off.
- Adjust the color precisely using the color slider.
- View RGB values and tap for manual adjustment options.
- Tap the square icons to select preset colors or adjust the color.
- Tap to switch between different interfaces (e.g., Adjust, Style, Music, Online, Mic).
