1. Software Overview

1.1 Overview

LotusLantern is a mobile application designed for controlling LED strips via iOS and Android phones. It replaces traditional control methods with a convenient, powerful, and scalable mobile phone interface. The app allows users to control the color, brightness, and color temperature of LED strips, as well as set various flash modes and synchronize lights with music.

1.2 Features

• Adjust color LED strips with 60,000 colors, change brightness, and adjust monochrome LED strips' brightness and color temperature.
• Synchronize light color and brightness with music rhythm.
• Multiple setting modes for color changes and LED strip control without a mobile phone.
• Long-distance control with omni-directional antenna and many-to-many group control.
• Automatic reconnection upon successful initial connection.

1.3 Performance

The LotusLantern APP is user-friendly and highly compatible with most smartphones (over 95% compatibility). It is lightweight, consumes minimal system resources, and requires low mobile configuration. The app offers minimal control delay, providing a smooth and responsive user experience.

2. Operating Environment

The LotusLantern APP requires phones with Android 4.3 or later, and iOS 8.0 or later. Mobile phone configuration requirements are not limited.

3. Instructions

Note: The download and usage methods for Android and iOS versions are the same. The following instructions use the Android version as an example.

3.1 APP Download

Scan the QR code provided to download the "LotusLantern" APP for both iOS and Android systems. Open a browser or a QR code scanning tool and scan the "LotusLantern" QR code.

Remote Control Functions

Button Functions:

• Off light: Turns off the LED strip.
• On: Turns on the LED strip.
• Pattern +/- (MODE+/-): Cycles through different pattern modes.
• Speed +/- (SPEED+/-): Adjusts the speed of patterns.
• Color Buttons (R, G, B, W): Select static colors.
• Brightness +/-: Adjusts the brightness of the LED strip.
• Timed 1h, 2h, 3h, 4h: Sets a timer for the lights to turn off.
• 16 colors: Switches to a mode with 16 selectable colors.
• Rhythm 1-2, Rhythm 3-4: Switches between different rhythm modes.
• 2.4G RF: Indicates the 2.4GHz RF connection.

Code Matching Function: Within 10 seconds of powering on, press the lock button on the remote control. The light will flash white three times to confirm successful code matching. Only the matched remote can control the controller. Pressing the lock button again after matching decodes the function.

Function Description (Remote):

• Short Press: Cycles through 7 static colors, three-color jump mode, and music mode.
• Long Press (3 Seconds): Turns off the light.
• Short Press After Turning Off: Turns the light back on.

3.2 App Operation

Initial Setup:

• Click the LotusLantern APP icon to enter the app.
• If Bluetooth is not enabled, you will be prompted to enable it. Click [Allow].

Interface Navigation:

• Color and Brightness Interface: Switch the color wheel to adjust colors. Click the square icon to manually adjust RGB values. The lamp switch button controls the power. Click to shift the interface to view settings or manual adjustment.
• Lamp List: Click to view the list of connected lamps. Bluetooth automatically connects after searching for devices. Includes options for Group Management and viewing device connection status.
• RGB Manual Adjustment View: Allows fine-tuning of RGB color values.
• Mode Interface: Scroll to select different lighting modes, including static colors, dynamic color changes, and strobe effects. Adjust speed and brightness as needed.
• Music Rhythm Interface: Allows control of lights based on music rhythm, using either the phone's microphone or an external microphone.
• Online Music Interface: Play music from your phone's music library. Control playback with previous, pause/play, and next song buttons.
• Schedule Interface: Set timers for the lights to turn on or off. Options include repeat settings and single activation.
• Modify Pin Sequence Interface: Allows customization of the LED strip's color sequence.

Install/Replace Battery

Battery Type: Button cell (CR2025)

Instructions:

• Remove and recycle used batteries according to local regulations. Keep away from children. Do not dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate.
• Used batteries can cause severe injury or death if ingested.
• Call a local poison control center for treatment information.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Do not force discharge, recharge, disassemble, heat above 60°C, or incinerate batteries, as this may cause injury due to venting, leakage, or explosion.
• Ensure batteries are installed correctly according to polarity (+ and -).
• Remove batteries from equipment not used for extended periods.
• Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed. If not, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different brands/types of batteries.

WARNING: INGESTION HAZARD

This product contains a button cell battery. Severe injury or death can occur if ingested. A swallowed battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours. Keep new and used batteries out of reach of children. Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted into any part of the body.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
