This document provides a comprehensive guide to the LotusLantern mobile application for controlling LED strips, including its features, operation, and regulatory compliance information.
Remote Control Functions
The LED2022-24KEY comes with a remote control for basic operations:
- AUTO: Activates automatic loop mode and controls on/off lighting.
- ON/OFF: Powers the LED strip on or off.
- MODE+/-: Cycles through different lighting modes.
- SPEED+/-: Adjusts the speed of dynamic lighting effects.
- R, G, B Buttons: Shortcut buttons for static single colors (Red, Green, Blue). Pressing them displays the corresponding color.
- W Button: Selects white light.
- COLOR Button: Cycles through 16 preset colors.
- Timed 1/2/3/4 hours off lights: Sets a timer for the LED strip to automatically turn off after 1, 2, 3, or 4 hours.
- Brightness+/-: Adjusts the brightness level of the LED strip.
- Lock Symbol [Lock]: Locks the remote control. Only the power switch remains active; other buttons are invalid. Pressing the switch again unlocks the remote.
Note: Turning the control knob (MODE/SPEED/Brightness) to its limit will result in a flashing white light prompt.

1.1 Overview
LotusLantern is a mobile application designed for both iOS and Android devices to control LED strips via Bluetooth. It offers a convenient, powerful, and scalable alternative to traditional control methods like infrared or RF remotes. The app allows users to control color, brightness, and color temperature, set various flash modes, and synchronize lights with music.
1.2 Features
- Adjust color for RGB LED strips with 60,000 color options, controlling color and brightness.
- Adjust monochrome LED strips for brightness and color temperature.
- Synchronize light color and brightness with music rhythm or sound playback devices.
- Multiple setting modes for color changes and control without a mobile device (referring to remote control functions).
- Long-distance control with omni-directional antenna and multi-to-many group control capabilities.
- Automatic reconnection upon successful initial connection.
1.3 Performance
The LotusLantern APP is user-friendly and highly compatible with most smartphones (over 95% compatibility verified). It is lightweight, consumes minimal system resources, and requires low mobile configuration. Control delay is minimal, providing a smooth and responsive user experience.
2. Operating Environment
The LotusLantern APP requires mobile devices running Android 4.3 or later, and iOS 8.0 or later. Mobile phone configuration requirements are not restrictive.
3. Instructions
The download and usage methods for Android and iOS versions are identical. The following instructions use the Android version as an example.
3.1 APP Download
Users can download the "LotusLantern" APP by scanning the provided QR code using a browser or any QR code scanning tool. The QR code links to download pages for both iOS and Android systems.
3.2 App Operation
Upon launching the LotusLantern APP:
- Bluetooth Connection: If Bluetooth is not enabled, the app will prompt for permission to enable it. Users should tap [Allow].
- Main Interface (Color/Brightness):
- Tap to display the lamp list.
- Use the color wheel to select colors.
- View RGB values.
- Control the lamp switch button.
- Adjust colors manually.
- Shift between different interface views.
- Lamp List: View connected lamps and manage groups. The app supports Bluetooth auto-connection after searching for devices.
- RGB Manual Adjustment: Fine-tune color, speed, and brightness.
- Mode Interface: Scroll through various modes such as White, Strobe, Flash, Static Red, and Static Blue. Adjust the speed of these modes.
- Music Rhythm Interface: Synchronize LED strip colors and brightness with music. This can be achieved using the product's built-in microphone or the device's microphone. Features include play/pause, next/previous song, and access to a music list.
- Online Music Interface: Similar to the music rhythm interface, but specifically uses the phone's microphone for music synchronization.
- Microphone Rhythm Interface: Allows switching between the phone's microphone and an external microphone. Users can adjust the microphone sensitivity to match the sound and enable/disable the Light-On function with repeat settings.
- Schedule Interface: Set specific times for the lights to turn on (Light-On) and turn off (Light-Off), with options for repeat settings and single activation.
- Modify Pin Sequence Interface: Allows users to change the color of specific lines (pins) and save the new assignment.
FCC Caution
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
