SJE PumpMaster®, SJE PumpMaster® Plus, SJE PumpMaster® SPDT Pump Switches
Mechanically-Activated, Wide-Angle Switches
These mechanically-activated, wide-angle pump switches are designed for direct control of pumps in water and sewage applications. They are not sensitive to rotation or turbulence, allowing them to be used in both calm and turbulent environments.
SJE PumpMaster® and SJE PumpMaster® Plus models are available for pump down or pump up applications as specified by part numbers. SJE PumpMaster® SPDT models can be wired for either pump down (normally open) or pump up (normally closed) applications, functioning as a Single Pole, Double Throw switch.

PUMP DOWN / OFF POSITION: Illustrates the switch mechanism with contacts in the OPEN state, featuring an on/off ramp and a steel ball. The position of the steel ball on the ramp determines the contact state.
Options
- Available in standard cable lengths of 10, 15, 20, or 30 feet and 3, 5, 6, or 10 meters (longer lengths are available).
- SJE PumpMaster®/SJE PumpMaster® Plus models are available with a 120 VAC or 230V piggy-back plug, or without a plug for direct wiring in 120 VAC or 230 VAC applications.
- SJE PumpMaster® SPDT models are available without a plug only for direct wiring in 120 VAC or 230 VAC applications.

NOTE: This switch must be used with pumps that provide integral thermal overload protection. Pump switches are designed for Horsepower (HP) rated loads and are not suitable for control (pilot duty) applications. They may fail prematurely when switching loads less than 1 Amp at 120 VAC. For control applications, select a float switch from the Control Switch offering.

DIRECT WIRING: Units used for direct wiring (without plug) may be used in either 120 VAC or 230 VAC applications within specified amp ratings.
