Congratulations on purchasing the Akrapovic exhaust system. This product is from Akrapovic d.d., Malo Hudo 8a, 1295 Ivancna Gorica, Slovenia. Please read this entire installation manual carefully prior to installing and using the Akrapovic exhaust system. Installation should only be performed by persons skilled in motorcycle exhaust system installation and performance. Follow instructions to ensure proper installation and safe use. Akrapovic and/or its partners are not liable for damage or personal injury resulting from improper installation, use, or maintenance contrary to the instructions and warnings herein. Safety and Compliance Warnings
Please read carefully before removing the stock exhaust system and beginning installation:
- This manual is specific to the motorcycle indicated on the cover page. Verify that the Akrapovic exhaust system and manual correspond to your motorcycle type.
- The exhaust system can get extremely hot during and after use. Allow it to cool completely before touching or beginning installation.
- Ensure the motorcycle is securely positioned to prevent tipping over and causing damage or injury.
- Check received parts against the parts list on the Akrapovic website (use QR code or search "Schematic View"). If parts are missing, do not proceed and contact the retailer.
- Always secure your motorcycle's ground clearance. For advanced users, check spring preload settings to optimize clearance.
- Each muffler has a unique serial number for authenticity, found on the muffler's inlet pipe. Verify your exhaust system is an original Akrapovic product. Contact the reseller or Akrapovic partners if in doubt. This manual, certificates, and warranty apply only to original products.

[USE BOLT SEALANT] Apply 3 to 4 small drops of bolt sealant onto cleaned and degreased threads before tightening bolts. Warning: Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mucous membranes. Do not inhale fumes. Keep out of reach of children.
[USE ANTI-SEIZE LEAD-FREE COPPER PASTE (black tube)] Provides trouble-free protection against seizing, corrosion, and rusting of bolts, threaded ends, nuts, joints, etc. Also protects against vibration, wear, and impact. Warning: Avoid eye contact. Keep out of reach of children.
[USE ANTI-SEIZING GREASE (white tube)] Prevents seizing, corrosion, and excessive wear between titanium components. Warning: Avoid eye contact. Keep out of reach of children.

Removal of Stock Exhaust System
The process of uninstalling the original exhaust system may vary. Please follow the original exhaust system manufacturer's instructions. If you decide otherwise, any information provided herein is general and for convenience only. Akrapovic assumes no liability or responsibility regarding uninstalling existing exhaust systems, their warranty coverage, or vehicle fitness for use. If your Akrapovic system may not be used on certain roads or conditions, keep the stock or other legally usable exhaust system.
Removal of EVO Link Pipe
- For Aprilia RSV4 only: Unscrew marked bolts on both sides of the motorcycle and carefully remove the belly pan (See Figure F 01). [CAUTION: Be careful not to injure yourself or damage any part of the motorcycle during this procedure!]
- Unscrew marked bolt and unhook marked springs, then carefully remove the muffler off the motorcycle (See Figure F 02). [IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage any part of the motorcycle during this procedure!]
- Unhook marked springs and remove the Link pipe off the collector (See Figure F 03). [IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage any part of the motorcycle during this procedure!]

Installation of the Akrapovic Track Day Link Pipe/Collector
- Slide the Track Day link pipe onto the collector's outlet and attach the spring (See Figures F 04, F 05). [IMPORTANT: Make sure the spring pulls the Track Day link pipe all the way onto the collector. Use a rubber mallet if necessary to tap the connection into place!] [INSTALLATION TIP: Coat the interior side of the inlet bush of the titanium Track Day link pipe with Akrapovic ceramic anti-seizing grease (white tube).]
- Position the muffler correctly, slide it onto the outlet of the link pipe, attach the springs, and hand tighten the carbon fiber clamp onto the muffler's bracket using the bolt, nut, and washer from the EVO Akrapovic installation kit and the stock aluminum washer (See Figure F 06). [IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage the muffler or any other part of the motorcycle during this process!] [INSTALLATION TIP: Coat the interior side of the inlet bush of the muffler with Akrapovic ceramic anti-seizing grease (white tube).]
- Align the muffler with respect to the motorcycle and tighten the muffler's bracket bolt to the specified torque: 22 Nm / 16 ftlb (See Figure F 07). [IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage the motorcycle or exhaust system during this process!]

Final Installation and Maintenance
Clean grease spots off all exhaust system surfaces after installation. Do not use aggressive chemical cleaners. Cleaning methods:
- Muffler – titanium outer sleeve: Use a soft cloth sprayed with a multi-purpose spray lubricant (e.g., WD-40®).
- Muffler – carbon-fiber outer sleeve: Use a soft dry cloth sprayed with all-purpose foam cleaner, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Muffler – carbon-fiber outlet cap: Use a soft dry cloth sprayed with all-purpose foam cleaner, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Painted mufflers and parts: Use a soft cloth sprayed with all-purpose foam cleaner, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Chrome plated mufflers and parts: Use a soft cloth sprayed with all-purpose foam cleaner, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Stainless steel pipes: Use a soft cloth sprayed with a contact cleaner, then wipe with a soft dry cloth.
- Titanium pipes: Use a soft cloth sprayed with a multi-purpose spray lubricant (e.g., WD-40®).
Periodically ensure all bolts and springs are sufficiently tight. [IMPORTANT: Make sure all bolts are sufficiently tightened. If the exhaust system touches the cowling or other parts, adjust the system or contact an authorized dealer!]
[CAUTION: After running the engine for 30 minutes, retighten the bolts of the Akrapovic carbon-fiber heat shield!]
[INSTALLATION TIP: It is normal if white smoke comes out of the muffler during the first 100 km after replacement.]
[INSTALLATION TIP: A change in the color of the exhaust system is normal due to high temperatures.]
