Before Installation

Remove all contents from the box and verify all parts are present according to the parts list. Read instructions carefully. The bumper is heavy; assistance is highly recommended to avoid possible injury or damage to the vehicle.

Part List

The part list identifies components for the Driver/Left Side ("22-L") and Passenger/Right Side ("22-R").

Driver Side Components:

  • Driver Side Front Support Bracket
  • Driver Side Front Bracket
  • Driver Side Center Bracket
  • Driver Side Rear Bracket
  • Driver Side Center/Rear Support Bracket (#1) (x2)

Passenger Side Components:

  • Passenger Side Front Support Bracket
  • Passenger Side Front Bracket
  • Passenger Side Center Bracket
  • Passenger Side Rear Bracket
  • Passenger Side Center/Rear Support Bracket (#2) (x2)

Note: The Center/Rear Support Brackets have specific designations (#1 for Driver, #2 for Passenger).

Hardware Included

  • 10mm x 30mm Hex Bolt (x6)
  • 10mm x 24mm Flat Washer (x12)
  • 10mm Lock Nut (x6)
  • 8mm x 25mm Combo Bolt (x12)
  • 8mm x 35mm Hex Bolt (x6)
  • 8mm Lock Washer (x6)
  • 8mm x 28mm Flat Washer (x6)
  • 6mm x 25mm Hex Bolt (x12)
  • 6mm x 22mm Flat Washer (x24)
  • 6mm Lock Nut (x12)

Passenger Side Installation

Step 1: Locate Front Mounting Point

Start installation on the passenger/right front of the vehicle. Locate the front threaded insert situated between the first pair of holes along the pinch weld.

Step 2: Attach Front Mounting Bracket

Select the Passenger/Right Front Mounting Bracket. Attach it to the threaded insert using one (1) 8mm Hex Bolt, one (1) 8mm Lock Washer, and one (1) 8mm Flat Washer. Do not tighten hardware yet.

Step 3: Attach Front Support Bracket

Select the Passenger/Right Front Support Bracket. Attach this bracket to the pinch weld using two (2) 6mm Hex Bolts, four (4) 6mm Flat Washers, and two (2) 6mm Nylon Lock Nuts. Ensure bolts are inserted from the outside of the pinch weld. Then, attach this support bracket to the previously installed mounting bracket using one (1) 10mm Hex Bolt, two (2) 10mm Flat Washers, and one (1) 10mm Nylon Lock Nut. Do not tighten hardware.

Step 4: Attach Center Mounting Bracket and Support Bracket

Proceed to the center mounting location. Locate the threaded insert and pair of holes in the pinch weld. Repeat the process from Steps 2 and 3 to attach the Passenger/Right Center Mounting Bracket and the Passenger/Right Center/Rear Support Bracket (#2). Note that the Center Mounting Bracket has an oblique cut on its top surface [oblique cut here]. Do not tighten hardware.

Step 5: Attach Rear Mounting Bracket and Support Bracket

Move to the rear mounting location on the rocker panel. Locate the threaded insert and pair of holes in the pinch weld. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to attach the Passenger/Right Rear Mounting Bracket and the Passenger/Right Center/Rear Support Bracket (#2). Note that the Rear Mounting Bracket has a notch on its top surface [notch here]. Do not tighten hardware.

Step 6: Attach Rocker Step

Select the Passenger/Right Rocker Step, identified by "22-R" on the front. Attach the Rocker Step to the mounting brackets using six (6) 8mm Combo Bolts. IMPORTANT: Do not slide the Rocker Step on the mounting bracket cradles, as this may damage the finish. Do not tighten hardware.

Step 7: Level and Tighten

Level and adjust the Rocker Step, then tighten all hardware securely.

Driver Side Installation

Step 8: Install Driver Side

Repeat Steps 1 through 7 to attach the Driver/Left Rocker Step.

Step 9: Final Inspection

Perform periodic inspections to ensure all hardware remains secure and tight.

Attention: Care and Maintenance

To protect your investment, do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives, as these can damage the finish. Mild soap can be used to clean the Rocker Step.
