General Safety Instructions
⚠️ RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! This device contains electronic parts powered by a power source (AC adapter and/or batteries). Improper use of this product can cause electric shocks. Electric shocks can cause serious injury or death. Therefore, it is essential to observe the following safety information.
- Never leave children unattended when handling the device! Follow the instructions carefully and do not attempt to power this device with sources other than those recommended in this user manual, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock!
- Disconnect the power by unplugging the adapter when the appliance is not in use, in case of prolonged interruptions of operation, and before any maintenance and cleaning.
- Position the device so that it can be disconnected from the power supply at any time. The power outlet should always be near the appliance and easily accessible, as the power cord plug serves as the mains disconnect device.
- To disconnect the unit from the mains, always pull the plug, not the cable!
- Before use, check that the device, cables, and connections are not damaged.
- Never attempt to use a damaged device or one with damaged electrical parts! Damaged parts must be replaced immediately by an authorized service center.
- Use the device only in a completely dry environment and do not touch it with wet or damp body parts.
⚠️ CHOKING HAZARD! Improper use of this product can cause suffocation, especially for children. Therefore, it is essential to observe the following safety information.
- Keep packaging materials (plastic bags, elastic bands, etc.) out of the reach of children! There is a risk of suffocation!
- This product contains small parts that can be swallowed by children! Choking hazard!
⚠️ EXPLOSION HAZARD! Improper use of this product can cause fires. It is essential to observe the following safety information to avoid fires.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures. Use only the supplied AC adapter or recommended batteries. Do not short-circuit the device or batteries, nor throw them into fire! Excessive heat and improper handling can cause short circuits, fires, and even explosions!
ℹ️ RISK OF MATERIAL DAMAGE! Improper handling can cause damage to the unit and/or accessories. Therefore, use the device only in accordance with the following safety information.
- Do not disassemble the device! In case of malfunction, contact your dealer. They will contact the Service Center and can arrange, if necessary, for the device to be returned for repair.
- Do not expose the device to high temperatures and protect it from water and high humidity.
- Do not immerse the unit in water!
- Do not subject the device to excessive vibrations.
- Use only accessories and spare parts for this device that comply with the technical specifications.
- Use only the recommended batteries. Always replace weak or discharged batteries with a new, full set of batteries. Do not use batteries of different makes or types or with different capacities. Remove batteries from the device if it is not to be used for a prolonged period!
- Do not use rechargeable batteries (accumulators).
ℹ️ RISK OF VOLTAGE DAMAGE! The manufacturer assumes no liability for voltage damage resulting from incorrectly inserted batteries or the use of an unsuitable power supply!

Power Supply Setup
Base Unit
- Insert the DC connector into the connection socket of the base station.
- Insert the mains plug into the power outlet.
- The device is powered directly.
- Wait until the indoor temperature is displayed on the base station.
ℹ️ For permanent operation, mains power is recommended. Alternatively, battery power is possible to maintain the time setting in case of a power interruption (permanent backlight will not be active). Proceed as follows:
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure the polarity of the batteries (+/-) is correct.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
- Wait until the indoor temperature is displayed on the base station.
ℹ️ After 7 seconds, the display switches to power-saving mode when running on battery. When using battery power, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the display for approx. 7 seconds.
ℹ️ When switching from mains power to battery power or vice versa, the power is briefly interrupted for technical reasons. Exception: permanent battery operation.
Remote Sensor
- Remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure the polarity of the batteries (+/-) is correct.
- Set the channel selector switch to the desired channel.
ℹ️ This weather station can be used with one or more remote sensors. Each connected remote sensor must operate on a different channel. If only one remote sensor is connected, it must operate on channel 1.
- Replace the battery compartment cover.
Connecting Remote Sensors
The weather station can display measurements from up to 3 wireless sensors* of the same type. Each wireless sensor must be set to a separate channel. Proceed as follows to set the channel.
- Remove the battery compartment cover of the wireless sensor.
- Slide the channel selection switch to the desired channel position (1, 2, or 3). If using only one sensor, channel 1 is recommended.
- Reattach the battery compartment cover.
- Press the [CH] button on the base station multiple times to display the measured values of individual channels. The selected channel is shown on the display.
- Press the [CH] button for approx. 3 seconds to reset the values and search for a wireless sensor (RF signal).
*One wireless sensor included, others available optionally.
Battery Level Indicator
- When the battery level in the base station or the wireless sensor reaches a critical level, the battery level symbol ? appears in the appropriate area on the display.
- When replacing a set of batteries, always remove the batteries from the other part of the device and reinsert the batteries in the intended order (see chapter "Power Supply Setup"). Replace the batteries to be replaced in the corresponding part of the device with a completely new set of full capacity. This ensures that the connection between the devices is re-established correctly.
ℹ️ The battery level indicator symbol ? is only displayed when the batteries are low. If the battery level is sufficient, the icon will not be displayed.
Time Settings
Automatic Time Setting
After the power is established, the unit automatically searches for the radio signal. It takes approximately 3 to 8 minutes to complete this process.
If the radio signal is received correctly, the time is set automatically and the reception symbol ? is displayed.
If the radio clock signal is not received, press the UP button for approx. 3 seconds to initiate signal reception.
If no radio signal is received, the time must be set manually.
Manual Time Setting
- Press the SET button for approx. 3 seconds to enter the time setting mode.
- The digits to be set will flash.
- Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the value.
- Press the SET button to confirm the entry and proceed to the next setting.
- Setting order: 12/24 Hour Format > Time Zone > Hours > Minutes > Year > Month > Day > Day of the week language.
- Press the SET button to save the settings and exit the setting mode.
ℹ️ If no button is pressed for 20 seconds, the setting mode will automatically close. Changes made up to that point will be saved.
Time Zone Setting
The time zone is set as part of the manual time setting. Further information can also be found in the chapter "Manual Time Setting".
- Press the SET button for approx. 3 seconds to enter the time setting mode.
- If necessary, press the SET button multiple times until the display shows the time zone setting (the factory setting is '00').
- Press the UP or DOWN button to select the desired time deviation in hours (from -12 to +12 hours).
- Finally, press the SET button for approx. 3 seconds to confirm the set time deviation.
Automatic Daylight Saving Time (DST)
The base station automatically switches to daylight saving time mode at the beginning of daylight saving time. The base station also returns to "normal" time mode when daylight saving time ends.
ℹ️ If the time is set manually, the automatic daylight saving time setting cannot be configured. When daylight saving time begins or ends, the time must be set manually again (see "Manual Time Setting").
Alarm and Snooze Function
Alarm Setting
ℹ️ The alarm setting cannot be performed while the radio clock signal search is active (the corresponding icon flashes). Wait for the radio clock signal search to complete before manually setting the alarm.
- Press the [SET] button to display the alarm time (AL).
- Press the [SET] button for approx. 3 seconds to enter the alarm time setting mode.
- The digits to be set will flash.
- Press the [UP] or [DOWN] button to modify the value.
- Press the [SET] button to confirm and proceed to the next setting.
- Setting order: hours > minutes.
- Finally, press the [SET] button to save the settings and exit the setting mode.
Activate/Deactivate Alarm
- In normal display mode, press the SET button to display the currently set alarm time.
- Press the [UP] or [DOWN] button to activate the alarm. The symbol ⏰ is displayed on the screen.
- Press the [UP] or [DOWN] button to deactivate the alarm. The symbol ⏰ is no longer displayed.
Snooze Function
- When the alarm sounds, press the touch SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the device or the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the front panel to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after 5 minutes.
- When the alarm sounds, press any other button to deactivate the alarm until the set time is reached again.
- If no button is pressed, the alarm will automatically deactivate after 2 minutes.
Display Features
°C/°F Display Change
- Base Unit
In normal display mode, press the DOWN button to toggle between °C and °F. - Wireless Sensor
Open the battery compartment.
Press the °C/°F button to toggle between °C and °F.
Close the battery compartment.
Climate Indicator
Based on the detected indoor temperature and humidity values, the weather station calculates a climate indicator and displays it with an arrow on a color scale and with symbols.

ℹ️ The climate comfort display may vary depending on humidity at the same temperature. At temperatures below 0°C or above 60°C, the climate comfort display is not available.
Weather Trend
A weather trend for the next 24 to 48 hours is calculated from the measured values and displayed graphically as follows.

Outdoor Temperature Alarm
- In normal display mode, press the ALERT button for approx. 3 seconds to enter the outdoor temperature setting mode. The maximum outdoor temperature value will flash.
- The symbols ⬆️ (maximum value) and ⬇️ (minimum value) are displayed above the outdoor temperature display area.
- Press the UP or DOWN button to adjust the respective value.
- Press the ALERT button to confirm the entry and proceed to the next setting. The symbols ⬆️⬇️ show the values to be set.
- Setting order: maximum temperature >> minimum temperature.
- If necessary, briefly press the CH button multiple times to set the channel for the sensor whose values should trigger the outdoor temperature alarm.
- Then press the ALERT button to save the entries and return to normal display mode.
ℹ️ If no setting is made within 30 seconds, the setting mode will automatically close. Settings made up to that point will be saved.
Activate Outdoor Temperature Alarm
- In normal display mode, press the ALERT button multiple times to activate the outdoor temperature alarm, if necessary. The symbol for the activated outdoor temperature alarm is displayed: ⬆️ (maximum value), ⬇️ (minimum value), ⬆️⬇️ (both values).
- If the limit values for the outdoor temperature are reached on one of the connected sensors, the symbol and the temperature value will flash, and an audible warning will be emitted.
- Press any key to stop the temperature alarm.
Frost Pre-alarm
- When the outdoor temperature falls within the range of -1°C to +2.9°C (30.2°F to 37.22°F), the frost warning symbol ❄️ appears on the display and flashes continuously.
- The frost warning symbol ❄️ disappears as soon as the temperature moves out of the critical temperature range again.
ℹ️ The frost warning symbol ❄️ is displayed as soon as one of the connected sensors transmits critical temperature values to the main unit.
MAX/MIN Weather Data
The base station stores the maximum and minimum indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values over a 24-hour period. The respective temperature and humidity values are constantly updated and displayed directly below the corresponding symbols ⬆️ (maximum value) and ⬇️ (minimum value).
Every day at midnight (0:00 a.m.), the saved maximum and minimum values are automatically deleted. A new recording period begins for the next 24 hours.
Press and hold the DOWN button for approx. 5 seconds to manually clear the current maximum and minimum values.
ℹ️ If the maximum and minimum values have been deleted automatically or manually, only the current measured values are displayed below the corresponding symbols. These values will only change again if they deviate.
ℹ️ For technical reasons, there are no decimal places in the display of maximum and minimum values. Therefore, small deviations are not displayed.
Display Brightness Adjustment
- When operating on batteries, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to activate the display for approx. 7 seconds.
- When operating on mains power, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button multiple times to set the desired display brightness in increments: dim – medium – bright.
- NOTE: The display brightness cannot be adjusted when operating on batteries.
Disposal, Technical Data, Warranty, and CE Declaration
Disposal
Dispose of packaging materials according to their type. Information on correct disposal can be obtained from the municipal waste management service or environmental agency.
Do not dispose of electronic devices in household waste! According to the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment and its transposition into national law, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally sound manner.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators and can return them after use at our point of sale or in the immediate vicinity (e.g., in trade or at municipal collection points) free of charge. Batteries and accumulators are marked with a crossed-out bin ?️ and the chemical symbol of the pollutant: "Cd" indicates cadmium, "Hg" mercury, and "Pb" lead.
