Replacing a Foot and Calf Massager Side Panel

Product Repair Policy

To ensure that Human Touch products are repaired in a manner that is fully consistent with the practices used during the manufacturing process, Human Touch requires that all product repairs are performed using only factory-new parts and in accordance with these product repair instructions.

Tools Required

Tools Required: Phillips-head screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver

SAVE ALL REMOVED PARTS FOR USE DURING REASSEMBLY

Removing the Side Panel Cover

1. Use the remote control to deploy the foot and calf massager to the position shown in Figure 1.
2. Pull up on the foot and calf massager release handle, located on the right-hand side of the massager. Rotate the massager away from the chair until the side panel cover screw is exposed on the inside of the massager frame (Figure 1).
3. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw.
4. If you are replacing the right-hand side panel:
   1. Using your left hand, raise the foot and calf massager release handle to expose the screw located beneath it (Figure 2).
   2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw (Figure 2).
5. Use the remote control to retract the foot and calf massager, so the side panel is in a vertical position.
6. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry the side panel off the foot and calf massager (Figure 3).

Installing the New Side Panel Cover

1. Place the new side panel into position, then press firmly to snap the side panel into place.
2. Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, replace the screw(s) you removed earlier.
