Health o meter Digital Scale User Manual and Instructions

Health o meter® Digital Scale

User Instructions

Scale Use

  1. Choose pounds (LB) or kilograms (KG) using the selector switch located on the back of the scale.
  2. Place the scale on a flat surface. A hard surface is best for maximum accuracy. Placing the scale on a soft, deep pile rug may affect the weighing accuracy.
  3. Before each weighing, tap on the lower corner of the scale. The scale will calibrate and display "-- --", then "0.0" and either "LB" or "KG".
  4. Step on the scale and position your feet in a manner that will distribute your weight evenly over the entire scale platform. The LCD display will flash "-- --" several times for approximately 3 seconds before displaying your weight. Stand still while reading the display.
  5. If you remain standing on the scale or step off of the scale immediately after your weight has displayed, your weight will continue to display for a few seconds and then turn off automatically.

If "E" is displayed, the scale needs to be calibrated (repeat Step 3) or it has exceeded the 330LB (150KG) maximum weight load.

NOTE: It is normal for your weight to vary during a day and from day to another. Slight changes in your weight are generally normal.

Battery

This scale includes one CR2032 long-life 3-volt Lithium battery. When "Lo" appears on the digital display, replace the battery.

Battery Replacement

  1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the scale.
  2. Open the compartment by pushing the locking tab and pulling the cover up.
  3. Push the small silver tab away from the battery to loosen the battery. Hold the scale at an angle to allow the battery to drop.
  4. Insert a new battery, pressing it firmly into the slot.
  5. Replace the battery cover.

CARE

Periodically wipe scale surface down with a DRY cloth to remove dust.

CAUTION

Weight exceeding the capacity (330LB/150KG) may damage your scale. This scale is designed for personal use only, not commercial/industrial use. This scale is not waterproof; avoid contact with excessive moisture.
