Important Information Regarding Wall Materials and Fasteners

Wall materials vary significantly, therefore, screws and fasteners for wall mounting are not included with this product. For advice on suitable screw systems for your specific wall material, it is recommended to contact a local specialized dealer or hardware store.

Battery Safety Information

WARNING: Keep batteries out of reach of children. Swallowing a battery can be fatal. If a battery is swallowed, seek immediate medical attention. Before disposing of batteries, always cover the terminals with plastic tape to prevent short circuits. Store these instructions for future reference.

Before You Begin Installation

Included Components

Installation Steps

Step 1: Prepare the Blind

Ensure the motor unit is properly connected to the blind and, if necessary, plug in the USB power adapter.

Step 2: Attach Mounting Brackets to the Blind

Position the two mounting brackets (part 10081418) on the top rail of the blind, approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches) from each end. Push them firmly until they click into place.

Step 3: Mark and Drill for Wall/Ceiling Mounting

Determine the desired mounting location (inside the window recess or on the wall/ceiling above the window). Use the attached brackets to mark the drilling points. Ensure the marks are level.

Step 4: Secure Mounting Brackets to Wall/Ceiling

Drill holes at the marked points and secure the mounting brackets to the wall or ceiling using appropriate screws (not included). Ensure the brackets are firmly attached.

Step 5: Mount the Blind

Align the blind with the mounted brackets and push it upwards until it clicks securely into place. Ensure both sides are properly engaged.

Step 6: Release Mechanism (if needed)

If the blind needs to be removed, use a flat tool to press the release tab on each bracket while gently pulling the blind downwards.

Battery Installation and Replacement

For the Blind's Motor Unit

To install or replace the battery in the blind's motor unit, slide open the battery compartment cover. Insert the battery pack, ensuring correct orientation, then close the cover.

For the Remote Control

To install or replace the battery in the remote control, open its casing. Insert a CR2032 3V Lithium Battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up. Close the casing until it clicks. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.

Remote Control Wall Mounting

The remote control can be mounted on a wall. Choose appropriate screws for your wall material. The diagram illustrates various wall types and the importance of selecting suitable fasteners.

Operating the PRAKTLYSING Blind

Using the Remote Control

To lower the blind, press the 'down' button on the remote control. To raise the blind, press the 'up' button on the remote control.

Manual Operation

The blind can also be operated manually by pressing the corresponding button on the motor unit to raise or lower it.

Smart Home Integration
