ℹ️ Before disposing of batteries, cover the terminals with plastic tape to prevent potential short circuits.

ℹ️ Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries (e.g., alkaline, carbon-zinc, rechargeable).

Installation Steps

Included Components:

1x Smart Control Unit
1x CR2032 Lithium Battery (3V)
2x Mounting Brackets
1x USB Charging Cable
1x USB Power Adapter
1x Rechargeable Battery Pack

Step 1: Mark Mounting Locations

Measure 16 cm (6.3 inches) from each end of the window frame or wall. Mark these positions for the mounting brackets.

Step 2: Attach Mounting Brackets to Wall

Using suitable screws and wall plugs (not included), securely attach the two mounting brackets to the marked locations. Ensure the brackets are level and firmly fixed. [Info] ℹ️ Consult your local dealer for advice on appropriate wall fixings.

Step 3: Mount the Roller Blind Mechanism

Align the roller blind mechanism with the attached mounting brackets. Slide the mechanism onto the brackets until it clicks securely into place. [Info] ℹ️ Confirm the mechanism is fully engaged with the brackets.

Step 4: Install the Rechargeable Battery Pack

Open the battery compartment on the roller blind mechanism. Insert the rechargeable battery pack, ensuring it is oriented correctly. Close the compartment cover securely.

Step 5: Charge the Battery Pack

Connect the USB charging cable to the rechargeable battery pack. Plug the USB power adapter into a power outlet and connect it to the cable. Charge the battery pack until it is fully charged. [Battery Charging] ?

Step 6: Mount the Wireless Control Unit

Select a convenient location for the wireless control unit. Attach it to the wall using screws (not included). Ensure it is mounted securely.

Step 7: Insert Battery into Control Unit

Open the cover of the wireless control unit. Insert the CR2032 lithium battery, making sure the positive (+) side is facing upwards. Close the cover until it clicks shut.

Step 8: Operate the Roller Blind

Use the wireless control unit to adjust the roller blind. Press the up or down arrows on the control unit to raise or lower the blind. [Up Arrow] ⬆️ [Down Arrow] ⬇️

Step 9: Smart Home Integration

For advanced smart home functionality, the FYRTUR roller blind can be connected to the IKEA TRÅDFRI system. Please refer to the TRÅDFRI user manual for detailed pairing and setup instructions.
